The three people and two pet beasts squeezed into the not-so-large watchtower, with the Violent Cloud Sparrows outside manically attacking the glass. With a "crack," a distinct crack appeared at the edge of the glass, starting to expand at a visibly fast pace.

Seeing this, Yang Yue felt both excited and scared, turning her head to Zhang Hao: "I guess we can’t wait for your reinforcents. We’ll have to figure out a way to save ourselves."

No sooner had she spoken than she saw Zhang Hao pressing his phone against the glass, tilting his head with a puzzled face.

Was he planning to pacify these wild Violent Cloud Sparrows with words?

Hey hey hey, this isn’t an ani; talking your way out won’t work.

As the thought passed, she exhaled lightly and looked at Li Qing: "Qingqing, prepare for battle."

"Okay." Li Qing responded softly.

Zhang Hao felt equally anxious but trusted the first Beastmaster of Xuanhe Village and believed his good friend wouldn’t trick him. He pressed the volu button, turning the sound up to the maximum.

The next mont, a crisp chirping sound ca through the phone: "Chirp!"

The watchtower glass didn’t have good soundproofing, so the phone’s sound could clearly pass through the glass to every Violent Cloud Sparrow’s ears outside.

The mont the sound ca on, all the Violent Cloud Sparrows attacking the glass froze.

The lead Violent Cloud Sparrow’s expression changed slightly; it flapped its wings closer to the glass and pressed its whole body against it, staring closely at the phone in Zhang Hao’s hand.

Separated by only a layer of glass, Zhang Hao stared dumbly at the leader, clearly seeing every feather on it and those violent eyes, swallowing his saliva involuntarily.

"Chirp chirp chirp!"

Spark’s voice continued to ring out.

At this mont, Zhang Hao sharply noticed the violent deanor in the lead Violent Cloud Sparrow’s eyes quickly dissipated, its expression turning quite strange.

How to describe that expression, it was like when he sneaked off to go fishing during work and got caught by Song Guohao halfway.

"Chirp chirp chirp."

The lead Violent Cloud Sparrow suddenly flapped its wings, called to the other cloud sparrows, then turned and flew away from the watchtower.

"Chirp."

All the Violent Cloud Sparrows followed, flapping their wings, their figures gradually disappearing into the sky.

The skirmish dissipated without a trace, leaving the three in the watchtower staring dumbly at the scene.

Suddenly, Chen Yuan’s voice sounded: "Alright, they won’t trouble you anymore; you’re safe now."

After a pause, he added with a smile: "But don’t provoke those short-tempered guys again."

Li Qing pouted her lips, glancing lightly at the Scaly Green Snake hiding like a tortoise in a backpack.

Zhang Hao ca back to his senses, dumbly holding the phone, "Yuan, how did you do it? Why did they listen to you?"

Chen Yuan laughed, "They listened to Spark. Spark has dealt with them before."

Literally "dealt with them."

He simply had Spark tell the Violent Cloud Sparrows that Zhang Hao and the others were his friends and to co to the farm for any disputes and find him and Spark to resolve them.

Upon hearing this, the Violent Cloud Sparrows, now under Spark’s leadership, obediently left.

Zhang Hao still couldn’t understand the Violent Cloud Sparrows’ reactions, but as it was getting late, he suppressed his curiosity and said, "Alright, let’s head back to the village first, and I’ll co to find you later."

He hung up the call, looking at the two whose faces were still strange, spreading his hands and smirking: "I told you reinforcents would be useful."

Leaving the watchtower, the three set off for the return journey as the sky grew darker.

On the way, Yang Yue couldn’t contain her curiosity, asking question after question:

"Who is Spark?"

"Why would the Violent Cloud Sparrows listen to it?"

...

Zhang Hao replied helplessly, "Why don’t you ask him yourself later?"

Yang Yue nodded, "Sure, we can also go thank him."

Zhang Hao told Chen Yuan about the two wanting to visit the farm, and the latter did not refuse.

When night finally fell, the three returned to Xuanhe Village and headed straight for the farm.

"Yuan, we’re here." Standing at the gate, Zhang Hao shouted at the top of his voice.

No sooner had he spoken than a figure as swift as the wind suddenly darted out, arriving in front of the three in the blink of an eye.

"So fast," Yang Yue marveled.

Her Cloud Fox was a Wind-type Pet Beast, naturally agile, but this pet beast’s speed far surpassed the Cloud Fox.

If they were to battle, the Cloud Fox might not even catch its shadow.

"Woof woof."

Cola looked at the three warily, then moved its nose, sniffing each scent.

Zhang Hao reached out to pat Cola’s head, smiling as he spoke: "What, don’t rember anymore?"

Cola disdainfully turned its head; it was very familiar with this shady scent, then moved to the two girls.

Eh?

Strange scent?

Cola imdiately heightened its guard, blue eyes staring at the two, baring its teeth and growling lowly: "Woof woof!"

Who are you!

"Yip~"

The Cloud Fox in Yang Yue’s arms was so frightened by Cola’s presence that it tucked its neck in, curling its body.

Zhang Hao explained, "They’re not bad people; they’re here to thank Yuan."

"Woof~"

Cola nodded thoughtfully, recalling that Chen Yuan had ntioned this before, then turned and returned to a small doghouse by the gate.

This was a task Chen Yuan recently assigned, having Cola guard the gate when free.

"This Gale Hunting Dog is really strong," Li Qing suddenly spoke, watching Cola’s back.

Zhang Hao rembered the tis the Gray-armored Wild Boar and Fire Dog were ruthlessly bullied by Cola and nodded in agreent sincerely.

"That’s obvious," Yang Yue said, glancing at the Cloud Fox curled in her arms, continuing, "Using a Gale Hunting Dog to guard the gate, how luxurious."

As they passed through the gate,

In a dark corner not far away, a head peeked out, its cold eyes scanning the two people and two pet beasts. This gaze felt like a sharp sword, bringing a stronger sense of oppression.

Iron Head’s gaze paused on the Cloud Fox and Scaly Green Snake for a mont, then moved away, retracting back into its lair.

Assessnt completed, no threat.

"What is this..." Yang Yue asked cautiously.

Zhang Hao replied, "Steel-headed Ground Rat, it helps with land reclamation on the farm."

Land reclamation...

Such an unfamiliar term.

Yang Yue recalled the cold gaze just now, feeling goosebumps rise all over her: "I feel like this Steel-headed Ground Rat is scary, its presence too intimidating."

Just look at the Cloud Fox tightly curled up in her arms, too scared to even peek out its head to know how terrifying it really is.

"Using a Gale Hunting Dog for gatekeeping, a Steel-headed Ground Rat for land reclamation, these two pet beasts are strong enough."

"Then... how powerful is Spark that made those Violent Cloud Sparrows obediently leave?" Yang Yue murmured to herself.

With different thoughts in mind, the three continued forward, soon arriving near the fish pond.

They looked towards the fish pond and saw a Run Run Duck practicing its skills, spitting out a powerful stream of water from its mouth, crashing onto the water’s surface, causing large splashes.

This kind of power, this kind of impact, was undoubtedly a proficient skill level.

The two were sowhat stunned, and before they could even voice their inquiries, Zhang Hao explained proactively: "Run Run Duck, it helps with watering."
