After a dizzying whirl, Lin Su once again had solid ground under his feet.
Before he could gather his wits and observe his surroundings, Qi Yunhan's familiar voice reached his ears.
"How did it go? What did you gain?"
As soon as he saw Lin Su appear, Qi Yunhan awoke from his meditation and, in a flash, was by Lin Su's side.
"Uncle Qi, my beast panion has pleted its evolution," Lin Su nodded, directing his gaze toward the Ghost he was cradling, and let out a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, Ghost was transported out with him, and nothing had gone awry.
"It's good that the evolution is plete," Qi Yunhan nodded in satisfaction, "Did the Nirvana Pool have an effect?"
"It did!" Lin Su nodded emphatically, "Besides its original Talent Skills, my beast panion has also awakened the Snow Explosion skill, and its form seems somewhat different from a normal Frost Flower Dream Shadow."
"Snow Explosion?" Surprise flashed in Qi Yunhan's eyes, "That's indeed good news. It seems like you're quite lucky. Let's discuss the details when we get back."
"Okay," Lin Su smiled.

As one of the controllers of the Nirvana Secret Realm, Qi Yunhan was well aware of the origins of the various exotic beasts within the realm; indeed, many had been personally captured by his Eight-Armed Rock Demon and sent into the realm.
As the Nirvana Secret Realm only contains eight natural area types, when selecting exotic beasts, they only choose those belonging to these eight types, sent into different areas by the Seven-Colored Cloud Crane according to their attributes.
So why would Lin Su bring out a dark-series trickster clown from the realm? The Nirvana Secret Realm has no dark-series area and shouldn't contain any dark-series exotic beasts.
Qi Yunhan was utterly puzzled.
"Uncle Qi, this trickster clown…" Lin Su briefly explained how Ghost was captured into the Nirvana Secret Realm and their subsequent encounter.
"I see," Qi Yunhan finally understood, but upon learning Lin Su intended to make this very trickster clown his secondary beast panion, his expression became somewhat quirky.
Before ing here, he had mentioned to Mu Yuxing how highly he regarded Lin Su and suggested that once Lin Su's Beast Taming Space reached the third tier, an exception could be made to personally find him a worthy beast panion to bolster his strength, to give him an edge in the uping preliminary petition two months away.
A beast of high quality in Mu Yuxing's opinion would at least be a cub from a royal monarch breed, which is extremely precious throughout the entire Da Yan Kingdom and considered priceless.
Yet, before he could act or even tell Lin Su about the plan, Lin Su had already selected his second beast panion?
Qi Yunhan's eyebrows knitted slightly.
The trickster clown is slightly weak, being only from a mid-rank mander breed with its evolutionary form reaching at best a mid-rank monarch breed level, and it lacks a fixed secondary evolution, suggesting its future potential isn't too high…
And why does this kid Lin Su always favor contracting with lower breed exotic beasts? His first beast, Xue Henqing, was similar. The Lin Family's wealth should support him acquiring a monarch breed beast panion without much difficulty, right?
Pushing aside his inner doubts, Qi Yunhan pondered for a moment before speaking slowly, "Initially, I planned to help you find a high-quality monarch breed beast panion as your second, but before I could discuss it with you, you'd already made your choice."
"Fortunately, your Beast Taming Space hasn't reached the third tier yet, and the contract isn't finalized, so there might still be time to switch to a different beast panion. What do you think? Would you like me to find one for you, or do you want to continue with this trickster clown?"

In the midst of the black smoke, Ghost's large eyes were filled with nervousness and unease.
Having grown up in the secret realm, it had finally found the Beast Tamer it wanted to bond with and was brought out by Lin Su from its familiar environment to this pletely foreign valley.
And now, was Lin Su about to give it up?
Ghost also understood the words of the powerful Beast Tamer; by giving it up, Lin Su could contract with a monarch breed beast, an opportunity that would undoubtedly be much stronger than contracting with it, and definitely precious to any Beast Tamer...
With that thought, Ghost's head slowly drooped, and its eyes began to dim.
Feeling the hands of Lin Su holding it, its face showed reluctance.
Such a warm embrace, but, regrettably, it might not belong to it much longer…
Suddenly, as it hung its head, Ghost felt a warm hand rest upon its head, stroking it just as before.
It looked up in surprise and soon locked eyes with Lin Su, who was smiling.
"Uncle Qi, there's no need. I've chosen this one," Lin Su shook his head with unwavering resolve, and then, with a hint of pride in his voice, he added, "And Uncle Qi, Ghost is not an ordinary trickster clown. It has awakened its Trick Pocket ahead of time. I believe its talents are great and its future potential might not be inferior to that of a monarch breed!"
