Ghost Ghost blinked, looking somewhat perplexed.
"The implications are still there considering the Alien Beast Ban is still in place." Lin Su said with a faint smile, explaining to Ghost Ghost what the Alien Beast Ban was, "Therefore, it would be for the best if your species could be rated as a low mander-level species to avoid any subsequent trouble and suspicion."
"Jie..." (Even without using 'Magic Pocket', I am still a middle mander-level species...)
"That's true. Hence, in today's assessment, you must not only conceal 'Magic Pocket', but also do your best to hide your abilities." Lin Su spoke softly, then proceeded to make detailed arrangements.
Most mander-level species have three Talent Skills, but what are the criteria for differentiating low, medium, and high levels?
In reality, the subdivisions of species levels are determined by prehensively evaluating all of the Alien Beast's Talent Skills.
At Shenwu, the subdivision of species levels is rather rough; most of the time, divisions are made by rough estimates. Although the classifications for most species agree with those on Blue Star, there are a few exceptions that are either a subdivision higher or lower.
Luckily, in Shenwu, there is no saying such as "evolution can only increase by three subdivisions," so for Beast Tamers there, a subdivision is just a rough indication of strength and doesn't affect anything much.
On Blue Star, on the other hand, there are strict definitions with standardized instruments used to test each of a pet's skills for their specific proficiency. According to these proficiencies, different standards are devised to gauge skill strength and assign a score to each skill. The final classification is determined by a prehensive evaluation of all skills, taking into consideration skill strength and the interconnectivity between skills, to ultimately ascertain the Alien Beast's species level.
This standard applies to all Talent Skills, whether they are offensive, defensive, healing, or any other type.
Therefore, so long as one intentionally underperforms during the testing of skill strength, it is theoretically possible to reduce the final assessment result.
The premise is that there are no other creatures of the same species for reference.
Ghost Ghost happens to meet this condition perfectly. Provided there is no second Jester Clown, whatever Ghost Ghost demonstrates would enpass all that a Jester Clown is capable of; its exhibited level would define the species level of the Jester Clown.
After rather thoroughly going over the precautions Ghost Ghost needed to take during the tests at the research institute, Lin Su gently rubbed Ghost Ghost's head, "Do you remember what I just said?"
"Jie!" (I remember!)
Ghost Ghost indicated no issues by waving its paws, although a hint of worry appeared on its face.
"Jie..." (But what if there's a second Jester Clown?)
"The appearance of an entirely new initial species is quite coincidental." Lin Su smiled, then suddenly switched to telepathy, "Don't forget, you are not a species that originated on Blue Star; who knows when a Jester Clown might appear on Blue Star? It's possible that we won't see a second one in our lifetime."
Even without considering a whole lifetime, Lin Su was confident that with the ability to travel between two worlds, his growth rate would far exceed that of a normal Beast Tamer. Perhaps within a few years, he could possess the strength and status of a master-level or even a legendary-level Beast Tamer. By then, the discovery of an indigenous Jester Clown on Blue Star would hardly affect him.

Ghost Ghost quickly came to understand upon hearing Lin Su's explanation.
It had almost forgotten that it hailed from the world of Shenwu, where the Jester Clown species did not exist at all.
There's a saying that if there's one, there's two, but for Jester Clowns, having one does not necessarily mean there will be another.
"We should head out!" Seeing that Ghost Ghost had no further doubts, Lin Su spoke with a smile.
After washing up, Lin Su and his two pets left the dormitory.
Upon stepping out of the dormitory, Ghost Ghost instinctively started to employ Shadow Concealment to enter Lin Su's shadow, but was stopped by Lin Su's outstretched hand.
"No need," Lin Su said, his face warm with a smile. "From now on, you can show yourself."
"Jie! (｡⊙‿⊙｡)" (Okay!)

"Yo, you've arrived?" Qin Nan stood at the doorway of a laboratory, eyeing the approaching Lin Su with a teasing smile on his face. He glanced at Ghost Ghost by Lin Su's side, "Did you get a lot of stares on the way here?"
"Yes." Lin Su's expression turned slightly odd.
There was a problem.
A big problem!
As he took Ghost Ghost to the research institute, Lin Su quickly realized something was off.
On the way over, it was fine; even though Ghost Ghost's form was unfamiliar to anyone, most passersby couldn't recognize all pet species and simply assumed Ghost Ghost was a rare kind unknown to them, giving it only a few glances.
But inside the research institute, things got lively.
From the main entrance to this point, Lin Su and Ghost Ghost were almost surrounded by numerous researchers, each one as if they had known about Ghost Ghost's existence in advance, asking questions and even curiously touching Ghost Ghost's body, showing extraordinary interest in this brand new initial species.
