At this mont, the five mbers of the Forest Wolf Troop, who were the focus of countless people’s attention, obviously hadn’t lost their composure.
Li Da said imdiately, "Check the surroundings!"
The environnt where the five of them found themselves wasn’t ideal; they were on a flat, rocky plain. This battlefield wasn’t excessively large, but it certainly wasn’t small either. The variety of terrain within it was likely considerable. After all, the participating teams possessed various Attributes. It would be sowhat unfair if certain terrain types were omitted, creating an imbalance due to external factors. However, the entry point was completely random.
Li Da quickly activated his life-signs watch, accessing the bird’s-eye map within it.
"Captain, the surroundings are clear!"
Feedback ca quickly. Li Da breathed a slight sigh of relief but imdiately issued his first command, "According to the plan, head towards the center!"
Li Da pointed directly towards the exact center of this battlefield!
They had agreed upon this strategy in the vehicle on their way, understanding the Wanmu Wolf’s advantages clearly. In positional warfare, they were absolutely Unstoppable; the Abilities of five Wanmu Wolves were enough to instantly transform a plain into a vast forest. However, they had to consider the issue of the poison circle. Therefore, in a way, while the center of this battlefield might not be the final zone, it would likely remain trouble-free for a short while. Once they reached the center and established their forest early, they could simply lie in wait for their enemies. The plan was simple, but undeniably efficient and reliable. The only challenge was the possibility of encountering enemies or unknown dangers en route, so speed was essential.
After briefly confirming their bearings, the five mounted their respective Pet Beasts and swiftly headed towards the center.
Seeing this, Su Ping couldn’t help but nod. This plan was virtually identical to what he had anticipated.
"They’ve t, they’ve t! They’ve started fighting over there!"
"It’s the Thaite Ape Master’s Roaring Waters Ape and the War Wolf Division’s Ashen Wolf Lord!"
The exclamations from behind made Su Ping turn his gaze to a nearby screen.
The Ashen Wolf Lord... isn’t that the Fla Wolf Evolutionary Body from Ding Yan’s Cultivation? Su Ping mused. His luck doesn’t seem too good, running into an opponent with a counter Attribute right at the start.
However, just as Su Ping’s gaze began to shift, a voice sounded close by, "HISS! That’s... the Rock Tiger Troop’s Earthen Mountain Tiger! Talk about a small world. I heard the Rock Tiger Troop ran into the Forest Wolf Troop last ti, didn’t they?"
"It really is! Who would’ve thought? The Forest Wolf’s brand-new Evolutionary Body facing an old rival in its very first battle?!"
"This is going to be interesting!"
Su Ping quickly shifted his attention from the Ashen Wolf Lord back to the Forest Wolf Troop.
Sure enough, barely ten minutes had passed before figures appeared in front of the Forest Wolf Troop!
Figures appeared: a man in an earthy-yellow military uniform accompanied by a large, mottled tiger whose camouflage resembled yellow rocks. They looked excited to see the enemy appear. However, upon spotting the peculiar Forest Wolf, both the Pet Beast and its Beast Tar visibly faltered for a mont.
What in the world is that thing?
But, while they didn’t know what kind of Evolutionary Body it was, the identity of the Forest Wolf Troop was still instantly recognizable.
"Well, well, isn’t that Captain Li? What a coincidence, huh?!"
It was indeed a coincidence. Li Da laughed too.
Just over two months ago, this bastard led his n to ’eliminate’ , he recalled. To think that in this competition, I’d run into this guy in such a godforsaken corner of the battlefield. And his luck is damn good too, showing up in terrain that perfectly suits his strengths.
Yet, Li Da showed no concern or fear. In fact, at this mont, he was brimming with fighting spirit.
It wasn’t just Li Da; Su Ping, watching at this very mont, felt the sa way. This was because after they entered the battlefield, a great weight had finally been lifted from Su Ping’s mind. He had initially worried that the battlefield might be so kind of Secret Realm or perhaps a chanical Simulation Space. But it was clearly a purely realistic environnt; there were even so wild Pet Beasts roaming about. Therefore, the current weather outside matched the weather within the battlefield.
With this thought, Su Ping didn’t imdiately turn his attention back to the screen. Instead, he took a leisurely mont to glance up at the sky.
A perfectly clear sky, really nice, he thought. A gentle, refreshing breeze, and the sunlight is just perfect.
