In the darkness of night, at the heart of Linzhou City, on the thirty-second floor of a skyscraper by the window, a man supported his chin with his hand. He gazed at the night view of Linzhou City without a trace of appreciation in his eyes, displaying instead weariness and impatience.
After checking his watch countless tis, just as he was about to lose his patience and make a phone call, at last, the distinct CLACK, CLACK, CLACK of high heels approached from outside the private room.
The door to the room was pushed open, and Dong Muyun’s figure appeared.
The man finally spoke. "Three hours ago was our agreed ti, right? In other words, Dong Muyun, you are a full three hours late!"

The man looked at his sister, who hadn’t changed over the many years, and the impatience and irritation on his face surprisingly vanished. He said, "Father’s orders. I’ve co to temporarily take over two subsidiaries under Tianyun Group: Tianyun Real Estate and Mirror Sky Entertainnt."
"What?" Dong Muyun raised her eyebrows in disbelief, looking at Dong Mutian. She asked, "Are these Father’s orders?"
"You can call and ask!"
Dong Muyun’s brows furrowed. Right in front of Dong Mutian, she made the call.
"Dad?"
"Has your brother arrived?"
The voice on the phone, along with its words, clearly confird Dong Mutian’s claims.
Yet Dong Muyun found it even harder to understand. She asked, "Dad, what does this an? Haven’t I been managing Tianyun all this ti?"
There was a mont of silence on the other end of the line. After about a dozen breaths, a muffled voice continued, "Muyun, the family is preparing to focus all its efforts on developing Tianyun Group. Other areas will make way for now. Tianyun Group is so vast, and it’s just the right ti for Mutian to help you share so of the burden. Besides, real estate and entertainnt aren’t our main industries..."
Dong Muyun’s fox-like eyes narrowed. She nodded decisively and said, "Fine, I get it..."
She didn’t wait for a response, hanging up abruptly to vent her dissatisfaction.
Then, under Dong Mutian’s amused gaze, she settled back into her seat, resuming her pose with one leg casually crossed over the other.

After leaving these words behind, Dong Muyun’s figure finally disappeared from the private room, leaving Dong Mutian, whose expression had turned a slight shade more pleasant.
