Now reading: Chapter 587 - 272: Forest Dragon! The Astounding Heart of Ph from Beast Taming: the More the Better, a Eastern novel by Second venture into business.

Watching Su Ping take off like a wisp of smoke, Guan Qianshan shook his head helplessly.

In just over half a year, the changes in Su Ping and the Heart of Woods were truly imnse. However, such changes were naturally a good thing. Although there were still many trials and troubles, with this young boss around, he believed that the future of the Heart of Woods would definitely get better and better.

Thinking of this, Guan Qianshan mused for a mont, then headed toward the area beside the Heart of Water—the one said to be influenced by a special magnetic field.

Su Ping naturally paid no attention to Guan Qianshan’s enthusiasm. He had already mounted Old Sha and was speeding off.

Da Huang had evolved.

This was expected. Master Zhu Hong was a Breeding Master, and he had been incredibly dedicated. With ample resources available during this period, Da Huang completing his evolution made perfect sense. However, upon actually hearing the news, Su Ping quickly ended his conversation with Lao Guan and headed to the vast wasteland further south of the Forest Heart, an area connected to its desolate mountain.

At this mont, both Da Huang and Master Zhu Hong were on this wasteland. Master Zhu Hong was standing there. Da Huang, who should have been in front of him, was enveloped in a Light of Evolution. This light wrapped everything, including Da Huang himself, within it, and all the energy converged inside his body. The Light of Evolution had already begun!

Su Ping hurriedly dismounted the charging Old Sha.

"Master Zhu, has the evolution started? How long has it been going on?"

Zhu Hong nodded, his eyes not straying from Da Huang, who was covered in the Light of Evolution. "About thirty minutes. It probably needs another hour or so!"

There was still ample ti. Su Ping breathed a sigh of relief.

He glanced at Da Huang’s Light of Evolution and then said, "Master Zhu, after Da Huang’s evolution this ti, are you going to ascend to the Spirit Saint Level?"

Su Ping said with a congratulatory smile.

Zhu Hong’s lips curled into a smile. "Not necessarily. After reaching the Monarch Level, any increase in Realm becos more challenging, especially the Spirit Saint Level. It’s thanks to you this ti that Da Huang’s evolution is different from my original expectations. However, inspired by the Five Elents Origami Man, Da Huang’s promotion shouldn’t be a problem. But as for , a Beast Tar, I might still need so ti to digest this. However, within a year! I’m confident I’ll step into that Realm within a year!"

"A Breeding Master plus a Saint Spirit-level Beast Tar! If you take over a position in the Breeder Association later on, you’ll have to look out for !" Su Ping said, half-serious and half-joking.

Zhu Hong’s reaction was straightforward; he waved his hand dismissively. "Get outta here! With your abilities, you think you need to look out for you? However, if you have any research ideas in the future, bringing them to directly will indeed make things smoother and more convenient. That ancestral evolution concept you and that kid from Magic Capital Academy are working on is quite good. Also, what you ntioned last ti about Pet Beast regression—those are all valuable ideas with clear research potential..."

"..."

In a certain sense, the two of them really hit it off. Both were quite formidable figures in the Breeder profession—one had innovative ideas and an ’outside the box’ approach, while the other possessed resources and experience. When they discussed matters, many new directions and insights would suddenly beco clear.

Su Ping also had reason to suspect Master Zhu Hong had probably called him over simply because he was too bored waiting for Da Huang’s evolution to complete.

An hour passed in idle chat between the two.

Su Ping freely shared the idea he had previously discussed with Ye Zhou: the possibility that Pet Beasts could revert to their ancestral forms in ancient tis because the Energy of that era was different from today’s.

Zhu Hong acknowledged this idea. In fact, others had proposed this possibility before, though there was no solid evidence. Unless one could travel back thousands of years to observe firsthand how the Energy of that era differed from modern tis, it would remain rely a hypothesis.

An hour passed, and with it, the Light of Evolution enveloping Da Huang began to slowly fade.

The dimming Light of Evolution caused both of them to stop talking and look up at Da Huang, who was still shrouded in its radiance.

ROAR!

A sonorous and powerful dragon roar resounded through heaven and earth.

The shockwave made Su Ping’s eyes narrow slightly as he looked at the Divine Dragon breaking free from the Light of Evolution. The Da Huang of this mont was vastly different from the rock-piled Giant Dragon he had been before.

The forr Da Huang had a rugged body with granite-like skin and scales, all a brownish-yellow. But now, amidst this yellow, there were speckles of vivid green. At first glance, if he were coiled on the ground, one could hardly recognize him as a serpentine Divine Dragon; instead, he would blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings, making his appearance quite deceptive.

"This is..."

Without a second thought, Su Ping activated the Eye of Truth, looking at Da Huang soaring and circling in the sky above the mountains.

Da Huang could naturally resist such trivial scrutiny, but upon recognizing it was this "little ancestor" watching, he offered no resistance. After an excited aerial loop, Da Huang slowly landed before the two of them.
