In front of everyone, Su Ping made the distributions directly. He looked at Rong Mang, who had not spoken a word.
"Cousin, which one do you want?" Su Ping asked.
At this mont, Rong Mang felt sowhat embarrassed, but only a fool would refuse. I’ve waited for so many years, and this day has finally arrived! How could I possibly give up? This is an Egg of the Five Saints, potentially with Spirit Saint Level racial potential!
Moreover, Rong Mang had followed Su Ping the farthest. In the Five Saints Secret Realms, he had gained the clearest understanding of the situation and quality of these Eggs of the Five Saints.
After thinking for a mont, he said, "I’ll pick that Green Thunder Bamboo Tail Chi!"
In Rong Mang’s view, among the Eggs of the Five Saints, this Thunder Elent scorpion Pet Beast had the most potential.
Su Ping nodded and handed the green egg of the Green Thunder Bamboo Tail Chi to Rong Mang.
Amidst the envious, jealous, and resentful glances from his peers like Rong Cheng and Rong Xing, this fortunate older cousin decisively took the egg and initiated a Soul Contract with it.
A preliminary contract with the creature inside the egg was ford instantly, leaving no room for hesitation.
Su Ping didn’t mind. Then, he looked at his younger male cousin and younger female cousin, who stood behind Rong Xia, looking equally bewildered. He directly picked up two Pet Beast eggs: the purple egg of the Myriad Poison Underworld Spider and the silver egg of the Erosion Moon Toad, handing one to each of them.
Actually, my senses tell this Erosion Moon Toad might be slightly better among these Pet Beasts, Su Ping thought. But it doesn’t really matter.
Su Ping then made the unimaginable and astonishing choice of a first Pet Beast for the two young ones, perhaps even basing the selection on their nas!
Then, Su Ping handed the last egg, that of the Frost Wing Heavenly Dragon, to his aunt, Rong Qiu.
"This is perfect, Auntie," Su Ping said. "You previously raised the Cold Water Wolf, which involved both Ice System and Poison Type cultivation. It seems you’ve made significant achievents in that area. This Frost Wing Heavenly Dragon egg should suit you perfectly."
Rong Qiu shook her head. "I’m still a long way from reaching the Emperor Level! All my current Pet Beast slots are filled. Without other resources, it would take years, perhaps close to a decade, for to be able to form a contract with this Frost Wing Heavenly Dragon. Xiao Ping, could I hand this Frost Wing Heavenly Dragon egg over to the Rong Family for them to decide what to do with it?"
Upon hearing this, Su Ping was slightly startled. At the sa ti, the other Rong Family mbers, who had utterly lost hope, now looked expectantly at Su Ping. Previously, they had found it unacceptable for Su Ping to take even a single Snake Saint egg. Now, the complex emotion of potentially regaining sothing thought lost filled many of them with anticipation, even if it was just one egg for their collective branches.
Su Ping looked at his smiling aunt and began to understand her intentions.
After all, when the ti cos, I can just pack up and leave Beiyuan, leave the Rong Family. But Aunt Rong Qiu and her part of the family cannot. They are the ones who must ultimately confront and handle the complex situation within the Rong Family.
The current circumstances, due to Su Ping’s sudden ergence and his recent actions, had already caused the other branches of the Rong Family to unite. They were clearly dissatisfied with their grandfather’s main lineage.
However, Su Ping’s actions were arguably within the established rules; moreover, he had distributed the remaining Eggs of the Five Saints to mbers of the Rong Family—albeit to his close relatives from the main lineage.
Interests are the key to dividing factions.
While Su Ping’s earlier decisions had left the other branches with no imdiate recourse, the Rong Family was now in real danger of fracturing. Even with Grandfather’s abilities and thods, the path ahead would likely be very difficult.
Thus, this final Frost Wing Heavenly Dragon egg had undoubtedly beco the crucial piece. This last Egg of the Five Saints could be used to sow discord among the other Rong Family branches that had united in response to Su Ping’s actions.
Su Ping’s brow furrowed slightly. If I can figure this out, so can everyone else. This is an open play, a blatant sche. Even knowing this, the other branches don’t have much choice unless they can resist the temptation of an Egg of the Five Saints.
Although Su Ping had no particular fondness for those other family mbers and was reluctant to let the egg go for their benefit, he ultimately t Rong Qiu’s earnest gaze and his grandfather’s somber look, and nodded.
"Of course," Su Ping said. "Since I’ve given it to you, Auntie, how you decide to handle it is naturally your call."
Rong Qiu smiled faintly. "Then thank you very much, you little one!"
Su Ping glanced at his aunt.
This woman seems quite ambitious about becoming my stepmother. Could Dad, Su Anyong, that old fellow, really be unable to resist the temptation? Well, I can’t be bothered to ddle in my father’s private affairs. Besides, Rong Qiu gives a good impression. Dad’s old enough now; I can’t stop him from pursuing happiness, can I?
Su Ping didn’t linger long at the ancestral hall. He could see that his presence was putting a great deal of pressure on the other mbers of the Su Family. Moreover, with him around, it wasn’t convenient for his grandfather to make further arrangents. After settling these matters, Su Ping returned to his own room.
And indeed, it wasn’t long before his grandfather arrived in person.
"Xiao Ping," Grandfather began, "I want to thank you on behalf of Rong Xia and those three youngsters! Your visit was initially for the Rong Family to help you evolve your Pet Beasts. We never anticipated that not only would we fail to help, but we would also end up owing you such a significant favor."
"We’re all family, Grandfather; there’s no need to say such things," Su Ping replied. "Besides, when it cos to the Eggs of the Five Saints, I was the one who truly benefited. You’re being too kind. I was rely passing on a borrowed gift."
