Su Ping answered the call that had just connected. Before Dong Muyun could speak, he asked eagerly.
"Of course! When Young Master Su gives an order, we naturally hurry. My grandfather and I are right outside the Heart of Woods!"
"Alright. You and your senior please wait a mont; I’ll co and get you."
After hanging up, Su Ping spoke to Biyao Chunshen, who didn’t seem to mind. Its body then transford into an ordinary-looking tree root and settled on the table, showing no intention of leaving. Clearly, it had to keep a constant watch over Xiao Qing’s Evolution.
Although Su Ping didn’t want to leave either, Xiao Qing’s Light of Evolution had just begun to shine. It would probably take so ti before the Evolution was complete.
If Dong Muyun had co alone, it would have been one thing. But a senior from the Dong Family was also present. It would be impolite not to greet them properly.
Moreover, Dong Muyun had brought the Dong Family’s Mirror Saint!
This was the first ti Su Ping had seen a Spirit Saint Level Artifact Pet Beast.

Although Dong Muyun had so previous unpleasantness with her family, she didn’t show it now. Or perhaps, the internal affairs of a large family were inherently complex.

The exchange of pleasantries between them was quite harmonious. Regardless of Su Ping’s true impression of the Dong Family, his outward courtesy was impeccable.

Dong Muyun wasn’t surprised. She had rarely, if ever, seen such a radiant smile on her grandfather’s face, especially when facing soone her age. A clear, sweet, and rather cute voice rang out, startling Su Ping.
The next mont, above the elder’s head, space seed to ripple and solidify from the void, and an object appeared before them.
It was a small mirror, only about palm-sized.
Its silver fra seed to swallow the surrounding space. Beneath it, a red tassel dangled, lending the mirror an air of nobility.
All of this matched Su Ping’s imaginings of the Mirror of Reflecting Heavens.
The only exception was the face that appeared within the mirror itself—a face that left Su Ping montarily speechless.
It was the face of a typical "2D" beautiful girl. Its appearance on this ancient-looking mirror gave Su Ping an abstract, almost surreal sensation, like looking at a smartphone displaying an ani character.
"This..." Su Ping blinked. He didn’t imdiately recognize this as the legendary Mirror of Reflecting Heavens, a rare Spirit Saint Level Artifact Pet Beast.
"Eh? Judging by your expression, you don’t like this face? I thought all young people these days would like it!"
The 2D beauty on the mirror’s surface tilted her head, looking at Su Ping oddly from within the mirror. After sizing him up, she continued, "With your status and standing, plenty of excellent human girls should like you, right? But you’re still a single dog. Based on my calculations, you most likely prefer 2D girls, correct?"
Su Ping was speechless.
Dark lines ford on Su Ping’s forehead. What on earth was this all about? Was this truly the Spirit Saint Level Mirror of Reflecting Heavens? Why did it seem so... unreliable?
Even the Dong Family elder looked slightly embarrassed.
"Mirror Ancestor," he said, "Su Ping’s accomplishnts at such a young age are natural, given he has dedicated all his energy to his career in Pet Beast breeding."
"Oh, I see. A career-oriented single dog, is that it?"
The beautiful girl in the mirror nodded with an air of understanding.
Su Ping pursed his lips, deciding to ignore this... peculiar mirror.
It wasn’t worth arguing with such a mirror, was it? After all, he would need its help later. Of course, he would never admit it was because, no matter what, he couldn’t possibly defeat this blasted mirror.
