As Su Ping pondered these matters, he also recalled so theories Ye Zhou had developed while researching here during the New Year.
Now that the Darkfla Ancient Raven was confird as the ancestral form of the Fla-Eating Crow, what lay beyond it? What was its ancestor?
Ye Zhou had initially suspected several targets.
After all, it wasn’t very difficult to analyze. He focused on extinct crow or bird-type Pet Beasts of the Fire Elent that had left traces in history.

Compared to the piercing shrieks of other hawk and eagle-type Pet Beasts, this caw, though loud, possessed an indescribable hoarseness.
Moreover, this cry matched Su Ping’s understanding of the creature perfectly:
"GAGA GAGA GAGA GAGA GAGA!"
Su Ping ignored the excitent in the harsh cawing and looked at Toothy, whose body had already transford.
Its originally pitch-black feathers were now, as expected, similar to the dark-red feathers of a Darkfla Ancient Raven. Its body was a size larger than before, comparable to so small hawks. A species limit at Monarch Seventh Stage?
The little crow before him had greatly exceeded Su Ping’s expectations, more than he could have ever imagined.
He quickly checked the computer again for the information he had just searched on the Darkfla Ancient Raven. In the Breeder Association’s database, the records clearly stated that the Darkfla Ancient Raven was an ancient Pet Beast with a species limit at the peak of the Commander Level.
But now, its species limit was Monarch Level!
Such a large disparity in Level clearly couldn’t be due to the resources Su Ping had used, which might have made Toothy’s evolution stronger. Even if it was more powerful, the species limit couldn’t have jumped so drastically.

So, when people discovered them, they would naturally have observed these creatures becoming progressively weaker. It’s indeed very difficult to break through a species limit to beco stronger, but for a species limit to degrade, making the creature weaker, is relatively much simpler.
Understanding this, Su Ping nodded.
He looked at the excited Gaga, which was radiating an intense heat. These seven skills, all of them rather exceptional combat abilities, marked it as a pure energy-based combat Pet Beast.
Simple and crude, he thought, yet already quite formidable at the Monarch Level.
The records for the Darkfla Ancient Raven only listed five skills. Neither Everlasting Fla nor Darkfla Incarnation were among them!
Undoubtedly, judging by their nas, these abilities must be among the Darkfla Ancient Raven’s most powerful skills.
With this in mind, Su Ping quickly reviewed them.
Indeed, the first few abilities were self-explanatory. Fla Projectile and Flowing Fla Garnt: the forr was an evolved version of the Fireball Technique, and the latter was a defensive Fire-based Skill. Fla Conversion was sowhat special, capable of altering the form and temperature of flas. Fla Consumption was a Racial Skill of the Fla-Eating Crow, allowing it to recover energy and store power for attacks by devouring flas.
Smoky Fire was a new skill Gaga had mastered after this evolution. It was a Fire Elent skill, but not a direct fla attack. Instead, it involved spewing out a large amount of thick, billowing smoke.
Not only was it extrely choking, but it was also accompanied by very high temperatures. It could cause enemies to suffocate, go blind, and suffer other debilitating effects. If used well in battle, this skill could definitely produce astonishing results.
