Gong You simply raised an eyebrow and smiled, a perfectly crafted look of loneliness in his eyes.

Xiao Cheng flashed a brilliant smile and waved, his fox tail popping out uncontrollably. "Go on, sister, but hurry back! I-I’ll be waiting for you tonight!"

’He’d seen the young female leaving Yin Jiang’s room that morning, and he’d been beside himself with excitent. He had spent the entire day fighting back a grin that threatened to split his face, his mind already scheming how to give her the perfect experience tonight.’

His Beast Form was at least five tis bigger than the pandas she’d seen in zoos. While other Beastn’s forms had a certain wildness, Wei Ce’s furry body was just round and cuddly. He had small eyes, but they were accentuated by large black patches. When he glanced at her sideways, a sliver of white showed in his dark eyes, creating an expression that was just too cute for words.

Si Shuo let out a squeal. With no one to hold her back this ti, she launched herself at him, nuzzling him, burying her face in his fur, and practically rolling all over him while still on her feet.

Forget three hundred mu; even three or four thousand mu wouldn’t be enough for him to eat to his heart’s content. He always strictly followed the clan’s regulations, taking only a set amount and supplenting the rest of his diet with fruits, vegetables, and grains.

Si Shuo strolled nearby, her hands clasped behind her back. ’Even though the Iron-eating Beasts eat bamboo, their digestive systems are still those of carnivores,’ she mused. ’They have short intestinal tracts, no complex stomach, and they lack a developed cecum. In truth, eating bamboo is an act of necessity for them. It’s difficult to digest and provides very little energy. Their unique diet is a sign of a narrow ecological niche, just a way for them to avoid competing with others for food.’

She had noticed on their way over that the other mountainsides were littered with panda droppings, but her own precious panda was clearly a neat freak.
