"I hear their family has two or three Level 14 Beastn who have a good shot at breaking through to Level 15. Is there any family or tribe in the city that isn’t trying to avoid them right now?"

"And, you know Ni Chang, right? The one-hundred-and-eighty-year-old, Level 15 Golden Python Beastman? Well, a few days ago, he took on another Female Saint... and it was Mi Xing!"

Si Shuo imdiately clamped her hand over her mouth, her cheeks puffing as she swallowed the gasp that rose in her throat. "What do you an, ’took on’?"

Mi Xing’s face darkened. She knew that her situation was likely known throughout most of Guangshou City, and that the Beastn from the Southern Continent were paying her particular attention.
