Only a few managed to escape. The group of wonderians was no doubt the strongest within the Ninelives Cave. There were only a few first- or second-level cosmic gods among them. More than half of all top elites from Saturatia-49 were there. It wasn't surprising that they were beyond Jiang Lincheng's capability to handle, which was rather unfortunate for them. What were the odds of running into that group in the Ninelives Cave, where cosmic gods were as tiny as ants?
"Lin Feng!" The primalwingers who had been reduced to essence form regained some hope amidst their despair at the sight of Tianming, who had Shiming Xingyue's lives in his hands.
Jiang Lincheng, Jiang Datou, and Jiang Xiaobai had been taken captive, heavily wounded, and were at the brink of death. The enemy had also claimed their spatial rings. Fortunately, a majority of the ninelives fruits had been sent back to the Primordial Sands, or their efforts would have been wasted. Either way, it was a difficult situation all the same. If it weren’t for Tianming taking Shiming Xingyue hostage, the folks from the Primordial Sands wouldn't have had any hope of survival.

"How did you bodyguards fail him so badly?!"
The fact that the tenth-ranked genius had been taken captive amidst a group of allies was embarrassing, to say the least. The few fifth-level cosmic gods that returned furrowed their brows and began scolding the bodyguards. At the same time, they stared at Tianming before spreading out, locking the entire area down with their divine wonders.
"Hell has no gates, yet you still found a way to barge in. Why?"
"That masked one is the legendary native of the Ancestral World, right? Is he only pretending to be one of the orbiters?"
"That's him!"
They saw the hostage and exchanged glances. "We can only wait for those two!"
The moment they said that, the path ahead of Tianming shone with a platinum glow. Two terrifying auras descended upon the whole area as two seemingly perfect platinum bodies appeared. The wonderian on the left was male, with a slender body and sculpted facial features. The lines of his muscles appeared perfect. His skin was pletely white and his eyes were pure gold. White hair fluttered around him as his entire body was bathed in the platinum glow of his astrons. He seemed like a perfect cosmic god.
The woman on the right had a graceful figure with long, flowing hair and appeared perfect, like her male counterpart. There was a slight hollowness in her golden eyes that radiated a tinge of desire and she had long fingers and legs that gave off unlimited elegance.
Tianming didn't need an introduction to know that they were the fifth-ranked genius on the ranking. The male was Shiming Yisheng and the female was Shiming Yishi.
Yisheng and Yishi, meaning throughout the whole lifetime, a name that matched the marital values of the wonderians. The two made the perfect pair and were the epitome of the wonderians' peak bloodline. Their every expression and motion conveyed how highborn they were. But when they faced Tianming, their elegance contained killing intent.
From the moment they had arrived, they’d locked eyes with Tianming. Their divine wonders manifested from their astrons and pletely locked him down. Their wonders were incredibly dense. Tianming remembered reading about them, the celestial duty forbidden ocean wonder and the three lifetimes celestial cycle wonder. The former manifested a sea of platinum with countless waves of starlight that took form as twisted words, much like Tianming’s grand lexicon wonder. The latter formed an astral disc of platinum upon which countless seas of flowers were engraved. As it spun, it created a resonance that caused the walls of the Ninelives Cave to shake like they were about to collapse.
"How powerful...." Putting Jiang Lincheng and the rest aside, even Tianming could feel their incredible might. The most dangerous thing about it was how they just came toward Tianming seemingly without regard for the lives of their siblings.
"Careful!"
"Young Lord Xingyue’s been captured!"
The other wonderians reminded Shiming Shengshi about the capture.
Trying to intimidate me, huh? Tianming had no choice but to get Bai Ling, Bai Ye, and Xian Xian to continue ravaging the two cosmic god essences. Though the essences were huge and weighed down on him like thousands of mountains, it was working. Shiming Xingyue's voices cried out in pain.
"Don't! Don't kill us!"
"Shiming Shengshi, stop!"
The terrifying howls caused the other wonderians to furrow their brows in disfort.
"Our parents are watching from Skyfiend Hall! If you cause us to die, you won't be able to get away with it!" It was only after Shiming Xingyue said that that their elder siblings stopped applying pressure on Tianming and slightly pulled back. They still made sure he was heavily encircled, though.
"Trash," Shiming Yisheng said, unclear whether he was talking about his siblings or Tianming.
The others breathed a sigh of relief. It also left quite an impression on Tianming, who was reminded of the wonderians' capacity to be domineering and cruel. He had never forgotten his grudge with them.
"My demands are simple," Tianming said without waiting for them to speak, glaring at the powerful Shiming couple. "I’ll trade your siblings' lives for theirs! All of them, not one less!"
Those from the Primordial Sands were touched to hear that and felt even more regret for having doubted him. He had dared to e to their aid under such desperate circumstances; people like him were rare indeed.
"You want everyone for just two lives?" Shiming Yishi said, raising her brow and chuckling at Tianming's naivete.
