Finnian’s eyebrow arched upward.
Perfect. Let that jealous bastard Silas get a good look.
He straightened his robe, spun around, and walked away, completely pleased with his handiwork.

Elara’s POV
My head spun from that intense kiss. I slumped against Silas, too wiped out to budge. The mont our eyes locked and he reached toward , panic crashed over . I jerked upright.
Shit. I recognize this sensation.
Silas’s brow creased. "Baby, what’s wrong?"
"Your lips are jinxed!" I shrieked. "You kissed so damn hard you triggered my period!"
Fuck!
I sprinted to the bathroom.
I despised my period with every fiber of my being. The pain was always excruciating. The first few days were absolute torture. Relief only ca once the worst had passed. Even my abilities couldn’t touch this particular agony.
My face was already losing color.
I stayed locked in the bathroom while Silas paced beyond the door. "Baby, are you okay?"
"What do you think?" I shouted back. "It’s my period."
"Do you have supplies?" he called through the barrier.
"Yeah."
The system had delivered a massive package. Despite the house being brand new, the robot had already sorted everything perfectly.
When I finally erged, I caught Silas’s stare and my cheeks imdiately burned.
"Are you hurting?" Silas asked, back to his usual caring self. Seeing how ghostly pale I looked, he swept up and carried to the bed. "Rest. I’ll grab you sothing."
He tossed his shredded shirt into the trash, tucked under the covers, and disappeared. Minutes later, he returned with steaming hot chocolate and a small cake. "Sugar helps."
Honestly, I barely felt anything this ti. I’d braced for the typical torture, but with this upgraded body, the pain never materialized.
Still, I sipped the hot chocolate.
The cake? Hard pass.
Rory had been delivering plenty of those lately, and I was completely over anything sweet.
Silas picked up on my mood, so he tweaked the room temperature and gave space.
I skipped lunch—no pain, but still completely drained.
I crashed until the afternoon, when my phone exploded with group notifications.
I was about to get pissed—until I actually checked the screen.
Barrett-Beastsoul-sent, "What? Elara’s on her period? I’m coming to take care of her."
Julian-Aquaticaura-typed, "What? Elara’s on her period? eting postponed. I’m coming back."
Kaelen-Soaringwyrm-texted, "What? Elara’s on her period? Flight delayed. I’m coming back."
Alistair-Sacredkin-ssaged, "What? Elara’s on her period? Military matters can wait. I’m coming back."
I went completely speechless.
My group chat has transford into a testosterone-fueled command center.
Petalprovidence sent, "You guys better be kidding."
Beastsoul, Aquaticaura, Soaringwyrm, and Sacredkin withdrew a ssage.
"So, Elara, you feeling better?"
I glanced up. The four of them—who’d vanished that morning—were crowding my doorway.
Alright, my eyes are definitely malfunctioning. They weren’t lying when they said uniforms work magic on n.
Endless legs. Incredible waistlines—seriously incredible waistlines.
"Guys," I said from the bed, "I’m on my period..."
As they stepped inside, my gaze made a deliberate journey across each of them.
I had to confess—my husbands in uniform hit completely different. Even my inner fangirl was losing her mind.
Wait, maybe my attitude was wrong before. So what if I’m on my period? Doesn’t an I can’t appreciate so eye candy.
Barrett started, "Elara..."
I raised my hand. "Hold that thought. I’m thirsty." I looked directly at Barrett. Predictably, he turned and walked out to fetch water.
"I’m sort of hungry," I continued. Julian stepped out.
I added, "Maybe sothing sweet..." Kaelen picked up the hint and left too.
My gaze followed the curve of his retreating form.
That little dragon moves with such grace. Damn, he’s got an amazing ass.
Having husbands is seriously entertaining.
Alistair realized the others had disappeared, so he peeled off his gloves and moved to sit beside . Before he could fully settle, I grabbed his tie and yanked him into a kiss.
His face flushed crimson. Just as he leaned in to intensify it, I shifted—lips to his nose, to his eyes, then to his throat.
"Who does this gorgeous husband belong to?" I asked.
"You." Alistair wasn’t just blushing in his face anymore.
He was blushing everywhere. He’d assud I sent the others away because I wanted to talk, but this caught him completely off guard.
