"Done." I confird.
Alistair fell silent for a mont before speaking. "What we can confirm right now is that Elara has wood power. The food we ate today, and those flowers... they were most likely grown using her wood power."
I heard sharp intakes of breath around .
"Even if Elara does have wood power, this is the Voidferal Feral Territory. We all know the conditions here. Even if a Purifier from the Valerion Empire ca, it would take a very long ti to purify a patch of land enough for planting here, let alone actually grow sothing. It’s only been a short while. If that’s true, it’s completely unbelievable."
I voiced my doubts, but shock coursed through . Because I had actually eaten that food. It was a unique variety, the texture incredible—completely new. I couldn’t think of any other explanation besides her growing it.
And later, when Silas asked, Elara had confird it.
"When I hacked into 007, she asked to help build a greenhouse. At first, it was just a guess, but after today’s al, I’m certain."
Alistair spoke with gravity.
We all understood what that ant.
"But we’re all trapped in here!" Barrett slamd his fist against the bars in frustration.
"Exactly. So, if she doesn’t bring it up, we won’t ask. As long as we don’t have the power to protect her, we act like we know nothing."
He paused, then continued, "And I suspect... you three dropping spirit collapse level might also be related to her."
"The vine bracelets," Julian said.
"General Kaelen’s numbers started dropping after he put on the vine bracelet."
"Mine too!" Silas called out.
Dorian flicked his tail. It was true—he had one on his tail too. It had been there since the day he left the treatnt pod. He must have assud the dical robot put it there, but it turned out to be connected to Elara.
"I have one on too!"
After Dorian spoke, silence fell over our cells.
A mont later, Alistair’ voice returned. "Then my guess is correct. You guys with the bracelets should cooperate with treatnt, try to get out as soon as possible. That way, she’ll have extra protection. No matter what... she used her power for us. Even females with the slightest bit of spiritual power are already in a precarious position, let alone soone with a power, and a rare wood-type one at that."
Elara’s power was too extraordinary. It could lower spirit collapse level, it could purify, and it was even more effective than the Valerion Empire’s Purifiers, plus the farming.
If any of this got out, the consequences were unimaginable.
"Understood. I’ll cooperate with the treatnt," I said.
This was my mate. I would protect her even if it cost my life.
"Don’t worry, I know what to do." Dorian looked at the vine bracelet on his tail, his expression firm.
Silas remained silent, but his fierce gaze seed to say, "She... is mine. No one is allowed to lay a finger on her."
"There’s one more thing to discuss. Everyone should be prepared."
Finnian said, "Stop beating around the bush. After all this, the sky could fall and it wouldn’t scare ."
Alistair continued, "The recent supplies didn’t arrive."
"What do you an? They’re not even pretending anymore? The prince is here too, and they just cut off supplies?" Barrett was hot-headed. Hearing this, his temper flared instantly.
Alistair clicked his tongue. "Patience, General. That’s what I’m getting to next."
Barrett shut up, snorting coldly as he sat back down.
Alistair’ innate skill was infiltration. Although it had a range limit, this entire facility was within his reach.
If these rooms weren’t hardwired to the main system, he would have escaped long ago.
Therefore, among our group, he was always the one with the most information.
"The fact that supplies didn’t arrive this ti probably wasn’t the Valerion Empire’s doing. Everyone, Elara... Her last na is Sterling."
"So what? There are plenty of Sterling in the Valerion Empire... Wait. Sterling?" I paused. There was only one family with that na in the entire empire.
Alistair said, "The Sterling family had a spiritless female. That female’s na was Elara."
"And then? What does that have to do with the supplies?" Barrett asked.
"She should also have three fated mates. Those three... you all probably know them too. They’re from the Blackwood family. Those three are Purifiers, and our supplies happen to pass through their hands."
Alistair didn’t need to say the rest. It must be because Elara ca looking for Finnian and Barrett, which angered those three, and that was why we all got dragged into this and lost our supplies.
Julian was the first to react. "So... those three were jealous? And cut off our supplies because of it?"
Silas sneered coldly. "What a bunch of scum."
Dorian bared his teeth. "Once I get out, I’ll make sure to finish off those three."
I started sharpening my claws. Right now.
Finnian’s eyes darkened. He must have rembered it was because she ca looking for him and Barrett that caused trouble back ho. He looked both furious and oddly touched about it.
Thinking this, he looked at Barrett. "Given the situation, General Barrett should probably show so appreciation, don’t you think?"
Alistair picked up the thread. "That’s what I was thinking too. For whatever reason, Elara hasn’t directly acknowledged that relationship. She was hired. I checked the salary 007 set for her. It’s only 200,000. So, I was thinking of using a personal account to access the system, that way we could give her a little extra each month."
