Elara’s POV

Those two weapons had massacred endless insectoids throughout galactic wars.

The truce had forced the bugs to suppress their rage. They never imagined they’d encounter soone wielding those legendary arms here.

"Kill her!" their voices rang out.

I went rigid.

Kaelen, Barrett, you bastards.

The realization hit like lightning. My husbands’ battlefield glory had painted a target on my back.

I triggered both the Venomforged and Woodward systems.

Outnumbered but not outmatched. I understood my capabilities—and knew speed was everything. In my previous life, exhaustion had led to my death when they overwheld .

I holstered the Dragonfire Blaster and drew the Moonshadow Blade. After clearing my goggles, I launched forward.

My spatial abilities provided cover while Venomforged mist concealed my movents. I beca death incarnate. A blazing streak cut through the chaos, scattering severed limbs and lifeless shells.

Tendrils erupted skyward. My Level 1 aqua ability fired: Cleanse.

The two B-class males exchanged stunned glances. Could this female possess such devastating power?

I divided my attention: cutting down the smaller creatures while targeting the armored giants with my abilities. Aqua energy encased the vines in jagged ice that pierced upward from below. Moving with lethal precision, I circled and wove the tendrils into a massive snare, pinning them completely. Then I catapulted myself airborne using the vine network.

I targeted the armor’s weak point. The ice spikes drained my reserves—this was my only chance.

Liquor emboldens cowards. But ? Courage wasn’t sothing I lacked.

Two rounds remained in the Dragonfire Blaster. I steadied my aim—then agony tore through my spine. I grimaced, seized the creature that had latched onto , and crushed it.

I pressed the attack, lightsaber in one grip, blaster in the other. My spatial power reached maximum output.

Nobody anticipated such savage combat erupting on this barren rock—especially one woman against thousands.

Without heavy artillery, I depended on my Level 4 wood abilities and Venomforged to carve my path to freedom. My Venomforged was engineered for insectoid extermination.

Though it couldn’t pierce armor, it obliterated the larval masses instantly.

Ard with my lightsaber and wooden barriers, I reversed an unwinnable war—particularly now.

Weaving through space, I soared through the air, Dragonfire Blaster prid and ready. Suddenly, I materialized directly before the male insect. The creature went still. "How could it be?"

"Why not? Die!" I drove a vine through the insect’s armor core. Viscous fluid exploded outward. Fighting my disgust, I pushed completely through and discharged the Dragonfire Blaster at zero range. Woodward engaged.

The blast hurled backward. Even then, I rembered the Feral Cores.

My vines wrapped around both B-class males’ heads and ripped them free. But one of their claws had punctured straight through my torso.

"Damn..." I clenched my teeth, severed the claw with my lightsaber, and hit the ground. The larvae rushed again. I stowed the spent Dragonfire Blaster and retrieved the blade Julian had presented —the Fishbone Blade.

I’d thrown it into my space storage and forgotten about it, assuming it was rely an ornantal trinket.

But my options were gone. My Venomforged held only two shots, and I was gravely wounded. I needed one flawless strike.

I gripped the Fishbone Blade tightly—then stared in amazent. The supposedly worthless ornant responded to the insectoids and transford into an ice-elent lightsaber.

It pulsed with brilliant light, freezing everything in its path.

I wanted to curse myself.

Why did I dismiss this as decoration? If I’d realized it generated ice, I wouldn’t have burned through so much energy. Now I can’t even access healing abilities.

Hell. Ti to fight!

I ignored the pain and dove into round two. Without the two giants, no real danger remained. I couldn’t waste Venomforged—my energy was too low. And the Dragonfire Blaster was empty. This was all on .

My past-life mories warned : the longer this battle stretched, the worse my odds beca.

I stared at the massive hole in my chest—then inspiration struck. I collapsed to the ground. The sll of blood spread rapidly. Within monts, thousands of larvae descended on like insects before a hurricane. My entire body went numb with cold.
