Elara’s POV
I had absolutely no clue how to handle Vivienne, who was sobbing uncontrollably.
Fine. Maybe I should just collapse on the floor beside her.
I seriously don’t know the first thing about comforting anyone!
With a loud thud, I dropped down next to her. The noise made Vivienne jump, and she peered up at through her tears, looking completely baffled.
"You..." Vivienne stuttered.
"I helped you out, but that doesn’t an you get to keep bawling," I told her.
"But... crying is literally the only thing I can manage right now," Vivienne whimpered.
"We could beco friends!"
Vivienne went rigid, and before she could get a word out, I continued, "Out of everyone in Glimraven Port, you ca running straight to . That’s got to be destiny."
"No, that’s not it," Vivienne whispered, shaking her head.
I frowned at her.
"It wasn’t destiny," Vivienne clarified, dragging her hand across her face. "I picked you because you’re female. Won help other won."
Vivienne had been absolutely terrified tonight. She’d gone into heat, encountered a psychopath like Cassian, and her abilities had completely failed her... If she hadn’t stumbled across , things would have gone horribly wrong.
"Thank you for rescuing ," Vivienne said with genuine gratitude. "But... aren’t you curious about anything?"
I shook my head firmly. "Nope. Other people’s business doesn’t interest ." I glanced at Vivienne. "Want to give you a ride ho?"
"That’s not necessary," Vivienne answered. "Just drop at the nearest small asteroid. My na’s Vivienne..."
"I’m Elara!"
"I’ll return the favor soday, my friend," Vivienne said with conviction.
We’d already arrived at our destination. Vivienne made her way to the cabin door. Before stepping out, she gave one last intense, aningful look. "Hold onto that rifle for now. I’ll be back for it when I’m able!"
Then she leaped out.
I cocked my head to the side. A cat-girl. How fascinating.
But... doesn’t interstellar history claim that females can’t shift into beast forms?
Shortly after Vivienne departed, my phone started ringing again. It was Finnian.
"I’m heading back now," I answered.
Finnian’s voice ca through clearly. "Good. You weren’t injured, were you?"
"I’m perfectly fine. I’ll be there shortly. Can’t chat right now." I’d purchased tons of stuff and still had to organize it all.
"Understood."

After ending the call, Finnian issued Rory a fresh command: handle the cleanup.
Cassian was, ultimately, a prince of the Valerion Empire. An incident of this magnitude couldn’t simply be buried. Finnian’s directive was straightforward: keep it under wraps. The thod was Rory’s concern.
Regarding how Cassian had provoked Elara and his specific actions, Rory had already compiled a detailed report and transmitted it to Finnian’s device.
"So you’re telling Cassian was the original selected candidate?" Finnian’s expression imdiately turned stormy.
Rory confird, "That’s accurate. However, Prince Cassian publicly declined the marriage arrangent with Ms. Sterling due to her lack of spiritual power. It created quite the controversy then. That episode was precisely why Ms. Sterling lost her worth to her family and was discarded. Sir, there’s another matter I’m uncertain whether to bring up..."
"Say it!"
"These are the sample results from tonight’s asteroid. Ms. Sterling truly has no detectable spiritual power. But she possesses other abilities—exceptionally rare ones: wood power and aqua power. I’ll forward you the complete analysis montarily."
Finnian nodded. "Understood. This information stays classified."
Until he could escape this location, the truth about Elara’s powers had to remain hidden.
Finnian continued, "What’s the status on Cassian’ team?"
Rory reported, "All eliminated. Only Garrett survived."
Finnian commanded, "Then arrange for him to accompany Cassian to Ore-core World. The magnetic disturbances have been erratic recently. It’s ideal for ’recovery.’ Ensure your people don’t let them expire too rapidly."
She rely castrated them. If they perish this quickly, she won’t be satisfied.
Reading the ssage on his screen, Rory couldn’t suppress a hard swallow. This was the true Finnian—speaking in the most gentle tone while issuing the most rciless instructions.
He sent a swift acknowledgnt and prepared to depart. After all, dawn was approaching in the Voidferal Feral Territory, and he still needed to deliver pastries to Elara!

Elara’s POV
Shortly after, my starship touched down at Voidferal Feral Territory.
Alistair was already positioned at the sanatorium entrance. Now occupying 007’s form, he visibly relaxed upon seeing return unhard.
"You’re back quite late," Alistair said quietly, naturally moving forward to collect the items I had purchased.
Finnian had maintained complete silence, and the door curtain absorbed the sounds. Apart from Finnian, no one else was aware of what I had experienced tonight.
"Hit so complications, but they’re resolved," I said. "I picked up a ton of stuff. Want to help organize it?"
Alistair nodded, and we both headed toward the kitchen together.
"Wait until you hear about who I encountered..."
I walked ahead, still fascinated as I described Vivienne—and how she could transform into a beast, an absolutely adorable cat...
Alistair said, "Elara..."
"Hmm?" I was in excellent spirits, a bright, satisfied tone I couldn’t quite conceal.
I’d taken care of business today. It was impossible not to feel good.
