Wu Chang ventured into the Calamity Fog, as if entering an entirely unfamiliar space.
The surroundings beca very open, the area shrouded in white fog, far exceeding the size of the banquet hall.
The atmosphere within the white fog differed from that of the Underground Shelter, the specific difference was hard to describe, if one had to say, it was that the world within the fog had a sense of impending disaster, a world on the brink of collapse.
Perhaps it is for this reason that it is called the Calamity Fog.
He Yun stood at the center of the Calamity Fog, noticing Wu Chang had followed her inside, the tension on her face visibly eased.

"Only by defeating those monsters or escaping the fog’s range can you get rid of the Calamity Fog."
As if to confirm He Yun’s words, a large number of heavy footsteps could be heard from within the fog, following which, a barrage of bullets tore through the fog, sweeping towards their location.
He Yun deployed the Energy Shield on her cha, guarding Wu Chang behind her, then swiftly moved together with Wu Chang, avoiding the bullet assault.
By the light dispersing the fog, Wu Chang saw the source of the gunfire; it was a zombie clad in full battle cha.
Its face was a bloody ss, the body withered, yet its movents and reactions were extrely agile, the muzzle always tracking Wu Chang and He Yun.
Wu Chang used spatial movent to shuttle behind the zombie, drawing the Giant Sword transford from the Golden Throne, and pierced through the cha with a single strike.
"A zombie with a cha, is this the thing you fear the most?"
Wu Chang stood on the cha, feeling that this entity was nothing extraordinary, certainly not to a degree to frighten He Yun so much.
To his surprise, upon seeing him eliminate the cha zombie, He Yun beca anxious, "Damn it, you shouldn’t have taken it out so quickly!"
Just as He Yun finished speaking, three more cha zombies erged from the fog, simultaneously pulling triggers towards Wu Chang.
"You should have ntioned this earlier!" Wu Chang quickly employed the Lightning Shadow Body Technique, rushing towards He Yun.
He Yun raised the Energy Shield, charging towards Wu Chang, successfully bringing him under protection, then complained, "Who told you to act so quickly! Their source is the Calamity Fog, as long as the fog persists, they will only multiply."
"Why are you afraid of these things?"
Due to complex reasons, Wu Chang couldn’t discern if He Yun feared the zombies or the weaponry barrage.
He Yun said, "How should I know, maybe I fear the indestructible and fearless chas."
"What should we do now?" Wu Chang asked.
He Yun said, "Every space ford by the Calamity Fog has a core node, destroy it, and you can dissipate these Calamity Fogs. We’ll split up and act quickly to find it!"
Wu Chang: "What does it generally look like?"
He Yun replied, "You don’t have to worry about it, just destroy anything suspicious you see! Except these zombies! If you encounter them, try to incapacitate them rather than kill them, this will slow down their reinforcent rate."
"I’ll go and lure them away, you take the chance to act!"
After He Yun finished speaking, she used her fingers to count down three-two-one.
As her palm clenched into a fist, she pushed the Energy Shield and charged towards the cha zombies, sending them flying backwards.
Seizing the gap while the cha zombies got up, she moved away in a direction away from Wu Chang.
Since cha zombies were what He Yun feared, this space ford by the Calamity Fog was also due to He Yun, the three cha zombies hesitated briefly, then abandoned Wu Chang, collectively pursuing He Yun.

He hadn’t known He Yun long but in their brief interaction, he trusted that He Yun wouldn’t be so wary of the Calamity Fog just because of several cha zombies.
As he separated the zombie and the cha, he indeed discovered sothing.
The zombie in the cha was wearing the uniform of Shelter 88.
Perhaps this uniform, and what it represents, was the real reason He Yun feared them.
Wu Chang left the zombie behind, continuing along with inspiration, and after a few more minutes, he arrived at a particularly dense fog area.
At the center of the area stood a vague stone monunt.
Judging by the appearance, it seed to be the node He Yun ntioned.
The surface of the stone monunt was covered in a fog that couldn’t be dissipated, preventing Wu Chang from seeing what was written on the monunt, but one other thing on the monunt he could see clearly, a large red grievance.
This grievance wasn’t attached to He Yun, but appeared in the space affected by the Calamity Fog after impacting He Yun, a situation Wu Chang had never seen before.
