The barbarian-dressed player at the neighboring table asked in confusion, "Mysterious newcor, which mysterious newcor?"
"Of course, it’s the one who cleared the B-Level Trial Dungeon. Besides him, which newcor in the Desolate Realm is worth discussing?" said the player dressed as a chivalrous hero.
Wu Chang had originally planned to just casually listen, but now he had to listen carefully.
The Four Major Organizations declared war on him? How co he never heard anyone ntion it?
The barbarian, even more bewildered, said, "Weren’t those large organizations desperately seeking information on the mysterious newcor, just a while back? It’s only been over a month, the information was still posted a couple of days ago, and they haven’t found him yet, how did it escalate into a fallout so quickly?"
The chivalrous hero shook his head, "This is what I heard from others, don’t disbelieve it. Check the bounty board yourself, all the bounties about the mysterious newcor have been taken down."
"I initially thought you were well-inford and wanted to ask if you knew the inside story, but if you don’t, then never mind."
Upon hearing this, Wu Chang opened the bounty board of the Desolate Realm, and sure enough, all the bounties about him had been swept clean.
Not just those from the Four Major Organizations, even local organizations like Sakura Island and many top-tier organizations had withdrawn their bounties.
The bounty from the Iron Armor Corps for information on Hymn Company had, once again, returned to the top.
It seed he was indeed being targeted.
The public tavern is a place for bragging, gossiping, and exchanging worthless information. Hearing soone ntion the mysterious newcor, many people naturally gathered around.
A female player in a small vest with short hair said in a low voice:
"I actually know a bit of the inside story. I have an uncle who is responsible for posting bounties for their organization, frequently dealing with people from various organizations, and can speak to the mid-to-upper-levels within the Four Major Organizations."
After the short-haired woman finished speaking, all the players around held their breath, listening intently.
When it cos to revealing insider information, it’s gotta be the ’uncle party.’
The short-haired woman cleared her throat and continued, "According to people from the Four Major Organizations, the mysterious newcor snatched sothing extrely important from one of the major organizations."
"Moreover, knowing it belonged to the Four Major Organizations, he brazenly snatched it, openly declaring they could co find him if they had the guts."
After a brief silence, the barbarian asked:
"Really?"
A player cloaked in a hood drew near and whispered:
"Whether it’s true or not, I can’t say, but I know that two days ago, ’Each Issue’s Hotspot’ internally planned to issue an announcent at the end of their program, inviting the mysterious newcor for an interview. Less than half an hour after the plan was submitted, it was imdiately axed."
’Each Issue’s Hotspot,’ as the most popular program in the Desolate Realm, is backed by the Four Major Organizations, and its founders are all star players, extrely powerful.
The only force capable of so swiftly axing such a project would have to be the Four Major Organizations, possessing such deterrent power.
A player wearing cartoon pajamas with a young boy’s appearance suddenly interjected:
"You know, the recent attack on the spatial fortress of the Four Major Organizations, shortly after which they declared war on the mysterious newcor, wouldn’t it be the mysterious newcor who was behind the attack on the Four Major Organizations?"
Hiss.
Everyone collectively gasped. You don’t say—it’s really possible.
The kind of genius the mysterious newcor must be—just look at how major forces are pursuing him to gauge their level of interest.
If one could make contact with him, even if he tore down their ho, big forces would praise him for doing it well, with precise technique, agreeing the land is right for tearing down, and if not thoroughly satisfied, they’d rebuild and invite him to tear it down again.
After all, talents at such a level are in high demand, and even if the Four Major Organizations appear united publicly, they are eager for others to fall out with the mysterious newcor to have him left with only them as an option, no way they’d issue a joint war declaration.
Unless the mysterious newcor single-handedly bombed all Four Major Organizations’ headquarters and seized a highly important item.
The barbarian got a bit numb—what started as an unfounded rumor now sounded more and more true.
He drank his beer in one gulp, slamming the mug heavily on the table, saying:
"The Four Major Organizations are the strongest entities, the cornerstone of the entire Abyssal Ga. A newcor who has just joined the ga not long ago dares to confront the Four Major Organizations, that’s..."
"That’s freaking amazing! Why isn’t it who’s this amazing!"
The barbarian’s words imdiately resonated with the players present. It wasn’t about wanting to oppose the Four Major Organizations, but in the Abyssal Ga, strength is revered.
No matter what you do, as long as you are strong enough, you’ll earn everyone’s respect.
The short-haired woman enviously said, "That guy might either have exploited hacks or ga-breaking bugs, he’s only done a few dungeons, at most four or five, even counting generously to forty or fifty—"
"Reaching max level and obtaining suitable cultivation techniques and reincarnations is already among the fastest out there, but just at this level, not only the Four Major Organizations, even an ordinary second-tier force could easily wipe him out."
The young boy followed up, "Yeah, I wonder if he’ll share his hack, not that I want to cheat, just purely for human evolution’s sake."
As the conversation increasingly drifted, Wu Chang didn’t linger any longer and got up to leave the bar.
In the Desolate Realm, ninety percent of rumors originate from public area bars.
Not even half an hour later, players on the Desolate Realm’s forums started summarizing the intelligence exchanges just discussed.
