Underwater, as the key was inserted, the iron gate at the bottom of the sea opened. Wu Chang and Sword Star passed through the gate, diving deeper into the ruins.

For Sword Star, being underwater was more uncomfortable than being on Night Island.

Since he hadn’t enhanced his aquatic skills, the overwhelming sluggishness in the seawater made him feel as though his body was out of his control.

The darkness of the deep sea was even more excessive than that of Night Island. With the help of the Night Traveling Lamp and headlamp, he could barely see what was right in front of him, much like in gas where one can only see a small fan-shaped area of the NPCs.

Anything beyond the light of the headlamp and Night Traveling Lamp was completely beyond his perception.

He couldn’t see his surroundings, couldn’t control himself, and combined with the imnse pressure coming from all directions, it always gave him the illusion that what awaited him below was not a relic but the gaping mouth of so gigantic ocean creature.

He was on the brink of a deep-sea phobia attack.

Just as he was getting tense, his Sword Heart twitched, sensing a ripple in the water, as if sothing was swimming towards them.

He turned his head in the direction the ripple ca from, the headlamp casting a cone of light, but there was nothing in the beam.

The next mont, the ripple ca from behind him.

He lit it up again, this ti vaguely seeing a fleeting shadow.

The shadow was enormous and extrely swift. The mont he sensed it, Sword Star’s mind was strained to the limit. He spoke to Wu Chang via his earphones:

"Be careful, there’s a monster in the water!"

Only after saying it did he rember that Wu Chang wasn’t wearing a diving suit; his earphones were stored in a personal space and couldn’t hear him.

They couldn’t communicate; only he had discovered the monster in the water.

Sword Star gripped his Flying Sword tightly. With the inexplicable forces underwater obstructing it, his Flying Sword couldn’t function, leaving him to rely on holding it in hand to use Sword Techniques.

This ant he couldn’t attack proactively; he had to wait for the thing in the water to launch an attack before he had a chance to counter.

A ripple approached from the side, and Sword Star sharply turned around. This ti, not only did he see the shadow, but he also saw thick tentacles, each at least four or five ters long at the tips.

He felt a threat from the tentacles—the monster was strong, unlike the fragile monsters Wu Chang encountered that shattered at a touch.

Compared to the previous two tis, this ripple was even closer, indicating the creature was testing them, inching closer.

Can we win?

In the midst of the tension, he detected another unusual fluctuation, this one from above and very near.

He looked up, and there was nothing above.

The next mont, alarms went off in his head, as a powerful crisis of death surged up from below.

Damn, it’s a trap!

The monster had deliberately stirred the water to lure him, making him rely on the water ripples to determine its location, then used his habit to divert his attention, launching a surprise attack on an open gap.

He looked down, seeing a mass of huge tentacle-bearing mucus already within five ters of him, and it moved with silent speed, ready to engulf him.

The gigantic mass of mucus was flung away like an electric scooter hit by a speeding truck from the side. Sword Star directed his headlamp to see what carried it off.

When he saw a creature over a hundred ters long, thick and long like a sea serpent, his mind blanked montarily.

What is that!

Not far from Sword Star, Wu Chang, transford into an Abyssal Python, was coiling his body around the mucus tentacle monster, tightening his grip continuously.

He had his eyes on the mucus tentacle creature, or rather, the High Priest, before entering the water.

"Talent Skill: Abyssal Domain"

"Skill Description: Releases Energy, transforming surrounding air or water into Deep Water Bite, creating his own domain—the Abyssal Domain. Any prey that invades will unwittingly beco food for the Abyssal Python."

The reason Sword Star couldn’t sense anything beyond the light was not only the faint Divinity in the water but also because of another layer: the Abyssal Domain.

The impact of the Abyssal Domain even surpassed the original power of the water.

Wu Chang had initially worried if his Power would be too conspicuous, scaring off the High Priest. However, the monstrous High Priest, too greedy for Energy-rich things, couldn’t resist the bait and stepped right into his trap.

In the Abyssal Domain, the High Priest’s body was steeped in Deep Water Bite, completely unable to resist.

Every ti Wu Chang tightened his body, his scales acted like saw blades, cutting large chunks off the mucus mass.

In less than a minute, he crushed the High Priest’s body and retrieved the White Conch Shell from within.

Wu Chang shook his head slightly at the shattered High Priest. Unlike other Players, the ocean was ho turf for him.

With the High Priest resolved, the rest of the journey was unobstructed, and the two easily descended into the ruins.

Through the gates of the Divine Hall of Death, entering the ruins, they seed to step into another world.

Not a drop of seawater seeped into the ruins, as though it were an independent space.

Entering the Divine Hall, Sword Star removed his fully enclosed diving helt, gasping for breath, waiting for his body to recover, and asked, "How did you manage that just now?"

Wu Chang shrugged and said, "That’s my Ocean Race Transformation, Sea Serpent."

Sword Star looked at Wu Chang with an expression like the grumpy old man official , as if saying, you call that thing a sea serpent? Are you mocking for never having seen a sea serpent?

Wu Chang tried to save face, saying, "Have you seen DigiKidz? My previous Ocean Race Transformation was its juvenile form; it’s rely beco its complete form now. If you like, you can call it Sea Python."
