The boxers who've fought him usually end up battered and bruised, like they went through a at grinder.

Before it began, the host quietly said to Wu Chang, "If you win this match, the boss will give you an extra 10,000 Federation Coins as a bonus."

Wu Chang nodded, tossed the earlier 5,000 Federation Coins to Punk-Head, and told him to bet all the previous winnings on him.

With the build-up from the last fight, this ti the odds were much more conservative.

The odds for the at Grinder were 1 to 1.40, while Wu Chang's odds were 1 to 1.90.

In the eyes of the audience, the at Grinder had agile footwork and a cautious fighting style, unlikely to suffer from underestimating his opponent. Wu Chang seed unable to cause an upset.

In reality, Wu Chang's match with the at Grinder was equally fast.

He used the reincarnation skill "Knight Will Not Die Unard" to take a punch from the at Grinder head-on, and then, taking advantage of the brief mont the at Grinder was stunned, he dove in and pinned him to the ground.

The ensuing scene was quite brutal; simply put, it was like the at Grinder had t a hydraulic press.

If the referee hadn't been prepared this ti to stop the match promptly, with two more punches from Wu Chang, the at Grinder would've been downtrodden beyond repair.

This ti, cheers erupted at the venue, and the crowd chanted Wu Chang's na.

"Peace!"

Yet the bloodied at Grinder retreating to shouts of peace was sowhat ironic.

Just as Wu Chang was still feeling pumped and ready for another bout, the host hurriedly stopped him, saying the boss wanted to see him.

As Wu Chang left the arena, he saw Punk-Head still carrying the original travel bag, only this ti, the Federation Coins inside had changed denomination from 20 to 100.

Guided by bodyguards, Wu Chang entered the VIP lounge on the third floor to et Kent, the big boss of White Old K.

Inside the room, five gunners were stationed. As Wu Chang entered, five pairs of eyes instantly focused on him.

The backs of these gunners' left hands bore a tattoo of a K, not for White Old K, but the initial of Kent's na.

Kent trusted no outsiders, only these gunners whom he had adopted from an orphanage and raised since childhood.

Their shelter, thoughts, lives, and very purpose of being were all given by Kent. Without Kent's orders, they found it difficult to even decide what to do.

If Kent were to die, these people wouldn't even know why they were alive. Only people like this were deed the most trustworthy.

Wu Chang didn't need to observe these gunners as he had seen enough of them amidst his past grievances.

These gunners were loyal to the point that they resembled fanatics rather than re subordinates.

Their level was around that of a level five player, far below that of bare-knuckle fighters from focal matches, but their focus was intense and all had enhancents in firearms, each able to draw and fire as quickly as the most seasoned Cowboys.

Making a move now, let's not even consider whether he could take down Kent, nor ntion the snipers aiming at him from outside; just the five gunners in the room, firing simultaneously, was more than he could handle.

On the Cursed Plane, guns were genuinely accurate and fast.

Now wasn't the ti to act.

Wu Chang suppressed the urge to strike, and said to Kent, "Boss, you looking for ?"

Kent, at fifty-two, was burly, with the classic fat over muscle physique, and a round face that appeared amiable and wise when he smiled.

This smile was one Kent had designed by professionals, costing him 10,000 Federation Coins. This was the very smile used on the honorary wall of Sigef City's great philanthropists.

Kent gestured for Wu Chang to sit down, then asked:

"Peace, I haven't seen you in Sigef City before. Just arrived?"

Wu Chang kept a straight face, knowing Kent was probing his background, so he repeated what he had told Punk-Head earlier.

"Boss, I've indeed just arrived at Sigef City. I got into so trouble before, just got out, and ca here to join my cousin, looking to find sothing to do."

"Didn't expect once I got here, I found out my cousin has a family now and wants to live a stable life. I fear bringing him trouble, so I went out on my own to find sothing to do."

Kent nodded noncommittally and continued asking, "I've seen your matches, your fighting skills are good. Were you a professional boxer before?"

Wu Chang shook his head, "I used to help people with problems, the kind that's thoroughly solved, never fought in matches, I learned fighting techniques from my cousin."

This piqued Kent's interest, "Who's your cousin?"

Wu Chang hesitated briefly, then under Kent's gaze, reluctantly replied:

"My cousin is Sean, a forr martial artist; he now works as a primary school gym teacher. Boss, if possible, I don't want to get him into trouble."

Upon hearing the answer, Kent showed a look of realization.

"Sean, huh, he really is as strong as a monster. To say it, I'm still a fan of his, especially that match where he killed his opponent—I was there live."

"I never thought Sean had co to Sigef City!"

Watching Kent's excitent made Wu Chang look sowhat perturbed, and he said, "Boss, my cousin he..."

Kent waved his hand to interrupt Wu Chang, speaking in a calm yet authoritative tone:

"Tonight, I'm eting a client, a major client. We share a common hobby, which is watching matches, and every ti we et, we'd arrange for a few fights."

"The at Grinder, whom you just disabled, was supposed to be one of tonight's fighters. You took him out; I was just worrying about who to get to replace him, never thought your cousin would be Sean."

"Tonight at 9:30, bring your cousin along."

Seeing Wu Chang about to say sothing again, Kent's face turned serious, his voice deepened:

"Don't rush to refuse; you just tell Sean that Kent invited him. As long as he wins tonight, the money earned will be enough for him to be a gym teacher for the rest of his life. He'll understand."

In the gaze exchange with Kent, Wu Chang yielded, lowered his head, clenched the fabric on his knees with both hands, maintaining his performance with every ounce of strength.

He was worrying about how to bring the main body over, unexpectedly, Kent offered himself on a silver platter.

Originally, he planned to lay low for a few days, figure out the internal workings of White Old K, then look for a chance to deal with Kent.

But just as he wanted more ti, Kent was determined to rush head-on into peril. Such cordiality, how could he not seize the opportunity to eliminate Kent—it would be a disservice to the trust Kent showed in him.

Favor!

To support his rise, Kent's boss's favor had been repaid!

After taking a deep breath, Wu Chang raised his head, showing an expression of understanding.

"Boss, since you've put it this way, I will definitely help you persuade my cousin!"
