Su Chen chuckled 'hehe', his casual deanor causing Qiuru's pretty face to turn slightly red, prompting her to quiet down and focus on eating her al.
"That's all you're eating?"
Su Chen asked, noticing that Qiuru's lunchbox had only a little rice and vegetables.
"I'm on a diet!"
"That won't do, here, have so of mine."
As he spoke, Su Chen scooped almost untouched portions of his al into Qiuru's lunchbox:
"You work so hard, how can you have the energy to keep going on so little food?"
Qiuru, looking at the heaping food now in her lunchbox, couldn't help but laugh and cry at the sa ti, "You've pushed over too much; it's more than I eat in an entire day."
"Do you think I'm a pig or sothing?"
She said, with a mixture of amusent and annoyance.
"No worries, eat up, and I'll finish whatever you can't!"
Su Chen, who was eating, muttered casually upon hearing Qiuru's response.
At the ti, Su Chen didn't think anything of what he had said, but it made Qiuru feel sowhat uncomfortable.
Eating from the sa box was sothing only very close people would do!
So all Qiuru could do was to nod with a "hmm" and lower her head to continue eating; she really did end up eating a lot, as if the food tasted better than usual.
However, the amount Su Chen had given her was too much; in the end, she couldn't finish, leaving about half of it uneaten.
Su Chen didn't mind at all. He took the lunchbox and quickly finished off the remainder in no ti.
Yet watching him eat what she had left, Qiuru felt a subtle wave of emotion inside.
"Is there sothing dirty on my face?"
Noticing Qiuru staring at him, Su Chen asked curiously.
"No, nothing!"
Qiuru's expression beca a bit flustered when he looked her way; she hastily changed the subject:
"By the way, is President Lin okay now?"
"He's fine now, recovering at ho. He'll probably be able to co back to the office in a couple of days." Su Chen stood up and said, "Alright, we're done here, let's head back together."
Back in the Public Relations Departnt, Su Chen found himself idle again. As his gaze fell on one beautiful coworker after another, each of them glared back fiercely!
He suddenly rembered that Ye i had contacted him a few days ago, telling him to drop by when he had ti. With nothing to do now, he thought it a good idea to check in on her and Yaning.
So once again, Su Chen drove to Rose Mansion. As he entered this ti, the receptionist who had been snacking hastily hid her food at the sight of him.
Joking aside, he might be one of President Ye's n. A small report to her could an big trouble for the receptionist.
Su Chen clearly noticed the receptionist's action and found it amusing. He smiled at her and proceeded inside.
This ti, the receptionist didn't dare stop him as she had before...
