Pei Man said with a faint smile, as if she didn't care at all.
In her heart, though, she felt a bit helpless. How could she have known that scoundrel would be even more shaless than she thought, daring to take liberties with her twice in such a short span of ti?
As a woman bound to a wheelchair, what could she do when faced with such a situation?
Even though that man claid to be acting, Pei Man felt that he was intentionally taking advantage of her.
Of course, she could never say this to Pei Jian, and what's more, she did have so special emotions towards that man.
Pei Jian looked at Pei Man and sighed,
"Xiaoman, you're an intelligent girl. I won't say much more. Be careful with matters of the heart, after all, you are the one Grandpa values the most."
"I know."
Pei Man naturally felt Pei Jian's concern for her. She nodded and then said with a smile,
"Second Brother, you're needed by others. You should go."
"I'll push you inside first."
"No need, I can manage on my own."
"Alright then, I'll take my leave."
After saying that, Pei Jian left...
Soon, only Pei Man was left at the entrance of the Pei Family's mansion.
"That guy, he's such a scoundrel!"

After leaving the Pei Family's mansion, Su Chen went straight back to the company, heading directly to Lin Ruoxue's office upon arrival.

At Chen Guo's words, Su Chen frowned. What on earth was Lin Ruoxue up to? She had not been at the company for several days in a row now, always leaving early and returning late, shrouded in secrecy!
"Little Guoguo, do you know what President Lin has been busy with recently?" Su Chen inquired.
"I don't know."
Chen Guo said,
"Brother Su, you and President Lin are husband and wife; why don't you ask her yourself?"
"Asking her is one thing, but she has to be willing to answer! You're not unaware of your President Lin's temperant."
Su Chen sighed.
Chen Guo also hoped she could help Su Chen. At her words, she furrowed her brow and fell into deep thought. Suddenly, her eyes lit up:
"Brother Su, there's a clue that might be helpful to you."

Each desk had a computer, either a desktop or a laptop, and the rest of the desk space was filled with files.
In front of these desks were three movable glass blackboards, covered in Chinese characters, numbers, and more, looking incredibly disorganized.
The individuals inside moved swiftly about, each with a face full of severity and tension.
Soone unaware of the situation would never think of this place as a hotel suite, rather they would mistake it for a command center!
In the midst of these people was a woman with her hair pinned up high; she was blessed with unmatched beauty and figure!
At that mont, she was dressed in an off-white business suit with high heels, standing amidst the crowd like a queen!
"Director Lin, here's the new data compiled today!"
Right then, a man in his thirties, wearing a black suit, ca over with a thick stack of files.
"When can we expect all the canvassing work to be finished?"
Lin Ruoxue took the thick file and imdiately began to flip through it.
"With two shifts running non-stop, it will probably take about two more days. There's just too much to cover!"
The man said. These past days, they really had been working as if at war. Ever since Director Lin had pulled them in, they had dived into high-intensity work!
They had never been this busy, even when the corporation was going public!
And yet, they still didn't know why Lin Ruoxue required this of them. But when the president gave an order, they dared not question it.
"Hmm, as soon as possible," Lin Ruoxue nodded and said earnestly:
"Also, confidentiality is of utmost importance. Even though everyone has signed a nondisclosure agreent, we still need to emphasize it relentlessly!"
"I understand, rest assured, Director Lin!"
"Alright, get back to your work."
Afterward, Lin Ruoxue walked to the window, looking out at the towering skyscrapers, her heart filled with unease.
She didn't know what consequences her current actions might bring, or if she might end up destroying the Belle Corporation her grandfather had built with his own hands.
A couple of days ago, when she had spoken to her grandfather, she hadn't ntioned Su Chen's identity but had vaguely brought up that she might be doing sothing that could significantly affect the fortunes of the Belle Corporation.
Moreover, she straightforwardly told her grandfather that eighty percent of the decision was based on her personal desires, and that the chance of success was very slim.
However, after hearing her out, Old Master Lin did not say much, only telling her to go ahead without too many worries!
Lin Ruoxue was grateful for her grandfather's tolerance and magnanimity, but the pressure on her shoulders grew even heavier!
Because what she was doing was indeed like a snake swallowing an elephant; she had very little confidence in her actions.

She shouldn't be this exhausted!
