"Yes, is there a problem?"
Yunyao tilted her head and asked.

"Mr. Su, would you mind joining for a cup of coffee?"

Su Chen nodded, feeling sowhat bewildered now; he couldn't help but think Yunyao's thoughts were quite jumpy.
Just a mont ago, she had wanted to visit interesting places, and in the blink of an eye, she now wanted to have coffee; this change of plans was rather abrupt.
But for the mont, he didn't think too much about it and followed Yunyao into a coffee shop.
It was a sleepy late morning, and many white-collar workers were still coming in to grab a coffee to perk up, mostly young and pretty won, of course.
Su Chen and Yunyao sat down at an empty table. Su Chen ordered a latte, while Yunyao opted for a cappuccino.
While waiting for their coffee, they chatted about so trivial matters, more like making small talk.
Before long, the waiter brought up their coffees.
"By the way, how's your father been?"
Su Chen asked casually after taking a sip of his coffee.
"Not good."
Yunyao shook her head, her expression slightly somber.
"Uh, what happened?"
Su Chen was slightly taken aback.
Yunyao didn't imdiately answer Su Chen but looked at him and asked:
"Do you know why Yunlong refused to co out with today?"
"Didn't he say he was busy?"
Su Chen said, puzzled.
"Certainly not, when have you ever seen him so dedicated to his work?"
Yunyao looked at Su Chen and asked.
"Indeed not, then why is it?"
Su Chen suddenly brightened up, pointed at Yunyao, and then at himself:
"He couldn't still be hoping... us..."

Su Chen suddenly slapped his thigh.
Upon hearing this, Yunyao understood Su Chen's aning and glared at him, annoyed:

Yunyao stirred her coffee with a small spoon and said:

"A few days ago, my father had a phone call with Yunlong. They had a big argunt over the phone, and my father was quite upset by it."
"I understand, it's because of the issue between and the Five Great Families, right?"
Su Chen imdiately realized after hearing this.
"Correct, I think you can easily guess what my father has in mind."
Yunyao said seriously,
"He thinks your confrontation with the Five Great Families is very unwise. No matter how strong you are, the outco won't be good. He's worried that Yunlong might get involved because of you and wanted to persuade him to leave."
"So, Yunlong did not agree, and that's why they ended up arguing, right?"
Su Chen asked, tilting his head.
"Yes."
Yunyao did not hide anything and nodded.
"Miss Yun, why are you telling this?"
Su Chen asked casually.
"I think you should understand my aning, Mr. Su."
"Are you asking to step in and persuade Yunlong to cut ties with ?"
Su Chen glanced at Yunyao.

Worry appeared on Yunyao's pretty face:

Su Chen took a sip of coffee and said,
"I will not take part in this matter."
"Why?"
Yunyao suddenly beca anxious and asked,
"After all, he calls you 'big brother,' can't you think for his sake?"

Su Chen was unmoved and casually remarked,
