Su Chen had no idea with what feelings he had left that office.
Lin Ruoxue, who initially felt quite annoyed, now felt much better. She watched Su Chen's departing figure and muttered to herself:

"Is this a candlelight dinner?"
The Ice Frost disappeared from Lin Ruoxue's face as she asked hesitantly.
"Yes!"
Su Chen stood up, walked over, and pulled out a chair:
"Please sit, madam."
Lin Ruoxue sat down sowhat confusedly.
"Wife, I knew you were coming back. The wine has already breathed just right. I'll go fry the steaks."
With that, Su Chen went into the kitchen. Frying steaks didn't take much ti; soon, he returned with two plates, placing one in front of Lin Ruoxue and the other in front of himself!
"Su Chen, what is this...?"
Lin Ruoxue didn't quite understand Su Chen's intention.
"Wife, look at your expression. It's just a candlelight dinner. You shouldn't be so surprised."

She now realized that he had arranged the candlelit dinner intentionally to please her because she had been upset during the day!

After dinner, they went upstairs, took showers separately and then went to bed. Su Chen had suggested several tis that they shower together, but Lin Ruoxue had firmly rejected every advance!
How could she do such a bashful thing?
After going to bed, Lin Ruoxue turned off the light, and the room was instantly plunged into darkness.
"Honey, did you enjoy the candlelit dinner today?"
In the dark, Su Chen pulled Lin Ruoxue into his arms and asked.
"Mm."
Lin Ruoxue humd softly.
"Should I do it more often?"
"Wouldn't that be too much trouble?"
"For you, my wife, it's no trouble at all!"
"Honey, can you tell about your past?"
