Feng Ya’s abrupt action left Ye Xunhuan montarily stunned, and a look of deep perplexity spread across his face.

“Ye Xunhuan, you’d better take a look before making a decision. If you still want to leave, my husband and I will absolutely not stop you, nor will we disturb you anymore!” Feng Ya said emphatically to Ye Xunhuan.

Seeing both Yuan Feng and Feng Ya say this, Ye Xunhuan pondered for a mont before finally picking up the docunt Feng Ya had left on the table.
Seeing Ye Xunhuan take the docunt, both Feng Ya and Yuan Feng visibly breathed a sigh of relief, as if a giant stone hanging over their hearts was finally laid to rest, looking quite relaxed.
After picking up the docunt from the table, Ye Xunhuan began to open and browse through it.

“Where did you get this stuff from?” Ye Xunhuan asked, his face dark as he stared at Feng Ya and Yuan Feng.
Upon hearing Ye Xunhuan’s inquiry, Feng Ya and Yuan Feng exchanged a glance, a silent communication passing between them, then Yuan Feng spoke, “You don’t need to know that. I can assure you, everything on this is true!”
“I’m asking where you got this stuff from.”
“Do you think we’d tell you?” Yuan Feng replied blandly, “Ye Xunhuan, Marshal, do you still refuse to cooperate with us?”
Ye Xunhuan didn’t speak imdiately, instead keeping his gaze darkly fixed on Yuan Feng and Feng Ya.
As ti ticked by, none of the three spoke, making the atmosphere feel very heavy.
After so undefined period, Ye Xunhuan slowly said, “Do you think that just because of this, I will agree to your request?”
Hearing Ye Xunhuan’s words, the faces of Feng Ya and Yuan Feng changed slightly, “You…”
“I really hate it when people threaten !” Ye Xunhuan said heavily, “I refuse to cooperate with you, and if you dare co looking for again, don’t bla for being rude!”
As soon as he finished speaking, Ye Xunhuan tossed the docunts back at Yuan Feng, then got up and left.
Watching Ye Xunhuan’s back, Yuan Feng wanted to call out to him, but when the words reached his lips, he didn’t know how to start.
Just as Ye Xunhuan was about to reach the door, Feng Ya suddenly stood up and called out, “Ye Xunhuan, we’ll give you ti. Think it over and call us!”
Feng Ya’s sudden shout imdiately drew the attention of all the café patrons, but she didn’t seem to care, calmly sitting back down again.
When Feng Ya called him, Ye Xunhuan’s steps paused slightly, but then he resud his stride and left without hesitation.
Once Ye Xunhuan had completely disappeared, Yuan Feng couldn’t help but say to Feng Ya, “Will he agree?”
“I don’t know!” Feng Ya gently shook her head, “But regardless, we have to give it our all. If he still doesn’t agree, then there’s nothing we can do!”
As she spoke, a bitter smile spread across Feng Ya’s face.
Ye Xunhuan is a marshal, not soone easily forced to do things he doesn’t like, nor is everyone qualified to dictate to him.
Yuan Feng sighed lightly, “Let’s hope he agrees, otherwise, we might lose again!”

Though there’s a saying about drowning one’s sorrows in a drink, another saying goes ‘drowning one’s sorrows with alcohol makes them worse.’ Ye Xunhuan initially intended to drink away his troubles, but for so reason, instead of getting drunk, he beca more awake with each drink.
After one strong cocktail after another, Ye Xunhuan remained unchanged—his face didn’t flush, nor was he breathless; he just carried on as if nothing had happened.
When Ye Xunhuan went to order another drink, the bartender couldn’t help but say, “Brother Huan, you’ve already had quite a lot. If you keep drinking…”

The bartender sighed slightly but dared not say more, once again serving Ye Xunhuan his drink.
As ti went by, the horizon grew darker, yet the bar beca busier. Heavy tal music played continuously, and the dance floor beca a chaotic scene.
No matter how the number of people in the bar increased, Ye Xunhuan remained at the bar drinking, with no interest in anything else.
Suddenly, a faint fragrance wafted over, causing Ye Xunhuan to shudder violently and instinctively turn towards the source of the scent.
