Her upper garnts, however, were soaked with dried bloodstains.
It was unclear when the blood had been spilled, but it had long since congealed into a dark maroon, making the sight all the more harrowing.
The streaks of dried blood looked deeply unsettling, reminiscent of countless scenes in films where prisoners endure brutal torture within dim jail cells, making any onlooker’s heart race uncontrollably.
Gradually, the woman lifted her head and looked toward the doorway.
As she raised her head, her face beca faintly visible through the chaos of hair.

You’re wasting your effort.”
Longshou continued, “Furthermore, these chains are equipped to release an electrical current throughout her body the mont they are tampered with…”
A dark, ominous shadow flickered across Ye Xunhuan’s reddened eyes.
“The current won’t kill you, but it will make her suffer indescribable tornt.”
“You bastard!

Longshou glanced at Ye Xunhuan and then at Liu Qingcheng.

“If you have the ability to take her away, be my guest.
But I’ll warn you—try anything reckless, and she could very well die.”
“If she dies, that will be on you—not us!”
“To hell with you!”
With a snarl, Ye Xunhuan struck the water, sending a spray exploding outward.
What happened next was shocking—Ye Xunhuan’s entire body seed to defy gravity, as he glided across the water’s surface in a technique reminiscent of Qiu Qianren’s fad Iron Palm Water-Walking ability from *The Legend of the Condor Heroes*.
“Clang!”
A flash of cold steel materialized in Ye Xunhuan’s hand, and in an instant, a translucent blade-like energy streaked through the air like a missile, hurtling toward Longshou.
Longshou’s face darkened as he quickly dodged to the side.
“Boom!”
A thunderous explosion echoed, and a massive crack instantly appeared in the wall behind Longshou.
“Ye Xunhuan, strike again, and I’ll ensure she remains chained here for the rest of her life!”
“Then I’ll just kill you!”
“You—”
“Release her!” Ye Xunhuan demanded coldly, his gaze like a blade piercing through Longshou.
Longshou exhaled sharply, relieved that Ye Xunhuan hadn’t struck again.
He replied unhurriedly, “I already told you—if you want to take her away, take her.
I’m not stopping you.
However, freeing her is simple—just beg .
If you beg , I’ll release her.”
“Otherwise, do whatever you want.
Tear this place down, kill —it’s your choice.”
Ye Xunhuan’s expression fluctuated upon hearing Longshou’s taunt.
He glanced at Liu Qingcheng, still subrged in the pool, hesitation and fury battling on his face.
