“So, does that an Young Master Ye isn’t planning on joining tonight?” Wei Shengjin asked with a faint, amused smile, his gaze fixed on Ye Xunhuan. “I’ve heard White Rose herself will be here tonight!”
Hearing Wei Shengjin ntion White Rose as well, Ye Xunhuan’s interest was piqued once more.

“So, you’re hoping to have supper with White Rose too, huh…”
Wei Shengjin chuckled lightly. “I’m just here for the fun of it. There are too many skilled racers here, especially with Sheng Wentao around—what chance do I have?”
“Wei Shengjin, since when did you beco so self-aware? This really isn’t like you,” Sheng Wentao said mockingly.
“I’ve always been self-aware,” Wei Shengjin responded flatly. “It’s just that you’ve never noticed it, and you clearly don’t understand what self-awareness ans.”
Sheng Wentao snorted derisively, refusing to engage further with Wei Shengjin.
Just then, soone suddenly called out for Wei Shengjin.
Seeing this, Wei Shengjin offered an apologetic smile to Ye Xunhuan and Tang Yurou. “Young Master Ye, Miss Tang, I have so matters to attend to, so I’ll leave you for now!”
“If Young Master Ye decides to join the race, feel free to use any of the cars I have!”
“Wei Shengjin, are you implying I don’t have any cars to race with?” Sheng Wentao said coldly.
Wei Shengjin chuckled but didn’t respond, turning to leave instead.
Watching him go, Sheng Wentao sneered disdainfully. “What a damn sly bastard!”
“Is he good at racing?”
“Although I’d rather not admit it, I have to say his skills are on par with mine—if not slightly better,” Sheng Wentao replied honestly. “He’s definitely here because White Rose is coming tonight.”
“Does he like White Rose?”
“How should I know?” Sheng Wentao rolled his eyes. “But even if he doesn’t, getting on White Rose’s good side wouldn’t hurt.”
“That said, I do think he likes White Rose. After all, she’s stunning—what man wouldn’t?” Sheng Wentao comnted nonchalantly.
Ye Xunhuan nodded in agreent. He shared Sheng Wentao’s view.
Although Wei Shengjin was also pursuing Tang Yurou, it didn’t necessarily an he couldn’t like White Rose as well. It was quite possible he wanted both.
“Young Master Ye, watch out for him. If you provoke him tonight, he likely won’t let it slide!” Sheng Wentao warned Ye Xunhuan. “He might even try to challenge you during the race!”
Ye Xunhuan smiled faintly, saying nothing.
If Wei Shengjin didn’t stir up trouble, that would be fine. But if he dared provoke him, Ye Xunhuan would make sure he understood the aning of despair.
