At this mont, the office door was suddenly pushed open from the outside. A sweet, chirpy voice followed, and then Lan Xin appeared inside the office.

With one foot just stepping into the office, Lan Xin seed frozen in place, as if under a spell. She stood rigidly, not even setting down her half-stepped foot, staring at the scene inside with slightly open mouth and an incredulous look.
Her expression seed to ask: What are you two doing? Did I disturb you? Do I still have a chance to leave now?
Lu Tianxing and Bai Zhiqing both noticed Lan Xin, who was halfway through the door, and were dumbfounded.

After a brief mont of shock, Lu Tianxing was the first to recover, looking serious as he said to Lan Xin, "Secretary Lan, don’t you know to knock before entering? Why are you standing there dumbfounded? Mr. Bai just fell and twisted her ankle. I’m taking her to rest inside. Go downstairs quickly and buy so safflower oil, okay?"

Lan Xin finally ca back to her senses after hearing this, lowering her head. "I... I got it. I’ll go down imdiately to buy it."
Saying this, without thinking, Lan Xin turned around and ran outside, closing the door on her way out.
After confirming the door was closed, Lan Xin let out a long breath, patting her chest in surprise. She couldn’t believe that the usually icy-cold Bai Zhiqing at the company could have such a bold side. If she had co a little later, they might have been engaged in sothing delightful to witness.
Recalling the scene she had just witnessed, Lan Xin couldn’t help but blush, feeling her heart pounding wildly, unable to calm down.

Seeing Lan Xin close the door, Bai Zhiqing finally ca to her senses. She raised her hand and pinched Lu Tianxing’s waist hard. It was all this jerk’s fault; if not for him, she wouldn’t have been embarrassed. If word of this spread, how could she maintain her dignity as director at Bai’s Group?
Lu Tianxing gave Bai Zhiqing an awkward smile and quickly let her go.
With her feet back on the ground, Bai Zhiqing let out a long sigh and kicked Lu Tianxing. "It’s all your fault, you asshole. It’s all your fault. Now get out of my sight imdiately. I need to work."
Knowing he was in the wrong, Lu Tianxing gave Bai Zhiqing an awkward smile and said, "Honey, I didn’t know Secretary Lan would suddenly burst in like that. You can’t bla ."
"Not bla you? Should I bla myself then?"
Bai Zhiqing glared at Lu Tianxing, pushing him hard toward the office door, then turned and walked toward her desk.
Lu Tianxing wore a wry smile, realizing his hopes of doing sothing fun with Bai Zhiqing were completely dashed.
"Honey, since that’s the case, I’ll head out first. Oh, I’ve got a gift for you. Open it later and see if you like it."

Upon leaving Bai Zhiqing’s office, Lu Tianxing casually swept his gaze over Lan Xin’s position, finding her absent. With a wry smile, he shook his head and took a beautifully wrapped box from his backpack, placing it on Lan Xin’s desk. Without any hesitation, he strode toward the elevator and headed straight to the security departnt.
However, Lu Tianxing hadn’t been in the security departnt for long before he fled with a dark expression, leaving a gift behind. He found that he really seed to clash with Xue Man. After a few words, he successfully angered her and beat a hasty retreat under her furious gaze.
Little did he know, after he left, the anger on Xue Man’s face dissipated. Staring blankly at the gift he had left in her hand, her pretty face alternated between sweet smiles and gritted teeth, her emotions vividly playing out.
Humming a tune, Lu Tianxing left the security departnt, heading to his final destination—the sales departnt.
At that mont, in the manager’s office of the sales departnt, Lin Qianru sat at the desk, seriously going over the office docunts she held. It took her quite so ti before she signed them.
Placing the signed docunts neatly aside, Lin Qianru leaned back in her chair, her once beautiful, delicate face showing signs of fatigue. It was clear she hadn’t rested well lately.
She took a sip of the coffee on the table before placing it back down and gently massaging her temples. Lin Qianru stood up, drew back the curtains, and let the sunlight pour in. Standing before the floor-to-ceiling windows, she gazed at the blue sky with undisguised worry in her eyes.
"Tianxing, you know, I miss you so much."
Lin Qianru murmured softly, lost in thought as she looked out at the scenery.
At the sa ti, Lu Tianxing arrived at the sales departnt. Without alerting anyone, he quietly opened Lin Qianru’s office door and walked inside.
When Lu Tianxing entered, he imdiately noticed Lin Qianru’s slender, sowhat frail back, evoking a sense of tenderness. Hearing her murmur softly, Lu Tianxing’s heart ached a little.
