Just planning to enter the room, Lu Tianxing heard the voices, and imdiately saw Bai Zhiqing and Lin Qianru looking at him with delightful expressions. He paused slightly, then softly said, "Why are you two still awake?"
"Zhiqing was worried you might encounter so trouble outside and couldn’t sleep, so she simply pulled along to wait for you here," Lin Qianru said to Lu Tianxing with a light smile.
Upon hearing Lin Qianru’s words, Bai Zhiqing rolled her eyes at Lin Qianru and said, "Qianru, you were the one worried about him, what do you an I pulled you along? Clearly, you pulled along to wait for him, alright? I wouldn’t worry about that scoundrel!"
Looking at Bai Zhiqing’s proud expression, and seeing the worry on Lin Qiuyun’s face, Lu Tianxing broke into a bright smile, feeling content with life. Suddenly grateful for being forced out of the Western World by those old folks due to the Four Symbols Ring, were it not for them, he might never have t these won worth protecting for a lifeti.
"Ladies, Qianru, it’s getting late, let’s wash up and sleep!" Lu Tianxing chuckled mischievously.

"Dream on."
After hearing Lu Tianxing’s words, both Bai Zhiqing and Lin Qianru’s faces flushed with blush, gave Lu Tianxing a glance, then imdiately turned to head to their respective rooms, shutting the door with a bang.
Lu Tianxing stood where he was, watching this scene, but instead of feeling dejected, he wore a bright smile. If he wasn’t mistaken, neither Bai Zhiqing nor Lin Qianru locked their doors, so should he have a big sleepover tonight, or perhaps engage in a little sneaky romance?
