Gu Mengmeng suddenly felt a chill down her spine.

Lea’s gaze drifted over toward Elvis. He smiled wordlessly.
Elvis’ tail bushed up at Lea’s smile. He gritted his teeth.
Lea continued slowly. “Only the leader of the vulture tribe can take on a partner from another race. And only the leader can sense the great lord’s signal to descend the mountains… and then… haha…”
“Stop laughing. It raises my goosebumps.” Gu Mengmeng rubbed her own arm and glared at Lea. “You better tell me everything seriously.”
Lea stroked his own face. “Goosebumps? Don’t you like seeing me laugh? Mmm?”
Gu Mengmeng held Lea’s shoulders with both hands. “Please, don’t stop in the middle. Continue your story properly.”

Without another word, Gu Mengmeng pouted her lips and Lea instantly turned and planted a kiss accurately on her mouth. His eyes crinkled with happily as he wove his hands into Gu Mengmeng’s black hair. He stroked her head gently.
They have been together for so long but Gu Mengmeng remained stirred by Lea’s touch. Blushing, she took a step back and fell into Elvis’ arms.
Lea finally continued. “I heard that the other party of the marriage would be the new owner of the Heart of the Desert… mmm, when that great lord transmits the message to inform the vulture tribe of this, the leader will fly down from the peak to fulfill the marriage contract. But…”
Lea’s gaze once again landed on Elvis’ chest. He couldn’t stop his shoulders from shaking from laughter.

Elvis was nearly suffocating from Gu Mengmeng’s grip, but he was still smiling blissfully. He looked like the foolish son of a wealthy land owner, pletely devoid of his usual forbidding and dominant wolf king aura.
At Gu Mengmeng’s outburst, Lea could no longer stifle his laughter.
Peals of laughter drifted out of the stone castle and spread across Sauder’s skies, which appeared more radiant as a result.
After calming down, Gu Mengmeng nestled in Elvis’ arms moodily. “No wonder that fellow kept eyeing Elvis’ chest… tsk. My hubby was violated by his eyes? I should dig them out!”
“Ah… so envious.” Lea waved his tail. “Hey, Xiao Meng, if someone looks at me like that, will you also dig their eyes out?”
“Yes, I will!” Gu Mengmeng said firmly, “I will dig out the eyes of whoever dares to violate my men with their gaze!”
Lea and Elvis couldn’t help chuckling. Mmm, Xiao Meng looked so adorable when she was in a jealous fit.
