Gu Mengmeng nodded, the corner of her eyes sweeping towards Gregory. She gave a polite smile and said, “You’re back. Eh, you brought so many back this time? Are you going to leave early?”
Gregory shook his head and said, “It’s just too troublesome to keep flying to and fro so I decided to catch more at once.”
Gu Mengmeng nodded, heaving a sigh of relief as she said, “I thought you were going to leave early…it’s hard to find a friend whom I can interact harmoniously with. I can’t bear for you to leave like that.”
Gu Mengmeng’s casual sentence made Gregory shake.

Gregory felt as if a rainbow cake crashed from the skies and smashed on his head. He went absolutely blank.
So the three words ‘can’t bear to’ really makes one dazzled, huh?
“Yeah….” Gregory did not know what he should say. He just stared at Gu Mengmeng intently, not shifting his gaze at all.
Lea swayed his tail and laughed, menting, “My Mengmeng is always melancholy and moody. Even if you don’t leave now, won’t you need to leave seven days later?”
Gregory heard something crack.
He clenched his fists instinctively and he felt like something was clutching onto his throat, preventing him from making a sound.
Gu Mengmeng sighed unknowingly, feeling sorry.
She liked ‘IPartment’ and ‘My Own Swordsman’ because they have a mon special characteristic — loved ones by your side and friends next door. Everyday was a bustling and happy day and the people one liked would gather together.
But her friends were scattered across the Beast World. Barete, Ian, the 16 valued females in Saint Nazaire, Hede, Jialue, Sandy and her family in Sauder, Chixuan, Kanwu, Natalie’s and Peter’s family in Zacharias, Little Shit in the Snake King valley…
Why can’t everyone gather together?
Gu Mengmeng’s disappointment prised of too much emotions but to Gregory, this sigh represented that she ‘can’t bear to’ watch him leave.
He was anticipating her ‘can’t bear to’ for these few days and he finally waited for it….but he was in more pain than ever.
He clearly knew that they were supposed to separate so why did he cling on and expected more? The more he had, the more he was unwilling to let go, he was torturing himself eventually.
Lea smiled casually and carried Gu Mengmeng up, handing her over to Elvis before saying, “Alright, stop thinking about it. Hurry and take your afternoon nap. Leave everything here to me. I remembered you still have to see Daji and Kiara over at Sandy’s house in the afternoon?”
Gu Mengmeng was not in a good mood and she lost her usual inciting character. She just gave up and lied in Elvis’s arms quietly, allowijng him to carry her back to the stone castle for her afternoon nap.
When Gu Mengmeng left, Lea acted like he could not see Gregory almost wearing out his eyes. He looked at Auretin and instructed, “Auretin, make a trip to the Snake King valley and tell Wabei four words ‘Mengmeng’s in danger’.”
“Then?” Auretin asked.
Lea chuckled and said, “No then, once you finish these four words….you won’t be able to even catch up to Wabei’s shadow.”
“…” Auretin’s face paralysis cold mode was turned on.
Lea swayed his tail and said, “When you return, I’ll cook roasted fish for you.”
Without replying, Auretin had turned to leave the place, leaving a ‘resolute and steadfast’ backview for Lea.
Yeah, ‘resolute and steadfast’ ing from a foodie…
“She….” Gregory frowned, not understanding Lea’s intention. Although Gu Mengmeng did not seem to be in a good state, she did not look like she was in danger.
“Oh? You’re still here?” Lea looked at Gregory in surprise and smiled, saying, “Oh…you’re talking about ‘Mengmeng’s in danger’, right? Sigh, we’ve two Beast Kings in our family, what danger can Mengmeng possibly be in? I’m just trying to con a coward over to see Mengmeng, after all…concern brings about disorder, he clearly knew that she wouldn’t be in any danger but upon hearing this news, he can’t help but worry, don’t you think so?”
