Gu Mengmeng’s heart constricted. “Are you also affected by the Fox Seductive Fragrance?”
Elvis nodded reluctantly. “The purity and density was too high. I cannot withstand it.”
Damn, she could barely handle these two during their usual frolicking. Now that they were both affected by the Fox Seductive Fragrance, she might really die in bed if they went crazy on her.
She could withstand other forms of physical hardship—after all, she possessed the strength of a Beast King and could recover within days. Elvis was gasping heavily. He walked toward Gu Mengmeng and placed her hand over his heart. “My heart, you touched it before. You should know where it is, right?”
“Why?” Gu Mengmeng had a sense of foreboding.
Elvis was drenched in sweat, but he forced a smile. “In case I lose control and do anything to betray you or hurt you, just dig out my heart and eat it. In this way, you can have two Tears of the Beast Deity and the powers of two Beast Kings. By then, you will be safe and secure no matter what the circumstances. Can you remember what I said?”
“Elvis! Calm down!” Gu Mengmeng hollered.
Elvis shook his head vigorously as if trying to shake off the filthy parasites burrowed in his brain. Unfortunately, he didn’t get his wish. The more he shook, the more blur things appeared. His body burned up uncontrollably as his breath became increasingly intense. His chest cavity was already aching from the heavy breathing, while something felt like it was churning in his throat, making his mouth extremely dry.
Gu Mengmeng laid Lea down at the side and held Elvis’ face with both hands. “Hubby, look at me. I am Xiao Meng, your partner.”
“Xiao Meng… ha, Xiao Meng…” Elvis held Gu Mengmeng tightly in arms. He trembled all over as his awareness started to fade, leaving behind only a primitive desire. “If only I am not a Beast King… then you can knock me unconscious like how you did for Lea… at least, at least I won’t be able to hurt you… Xiao Meng, I… Xiao Meng…”
Gu Mengmeng kissed Elvis on the lips and forced a calm smile. “Everything will be fine. Nothing will happen to you. It’s only the Fox Seductive Fragrance, right? You only desire me, right? Eyes pletely bloodshot, Elvis hugged Gu Mengmeng tightly. On one hand, it was to soothe his own emotional state, on the other hand, it was to restrict himself from doing anything that would cross the lines. He grit his teeth. “I cannot have you under such circumstances… I cannot control myself… you will get hurt… I would rather you carve out my heart than let me hurt you. Kill me now!”
“Things are not that serious. Hubby… it’s fine, it’s just mating. We are partners and mating is a very normal act between us. I trust you, you will never hurt me.” Anyway, it wouldn’t matter even if she was hurt, even if she was in pain. She just had to bear with it until the effects of the Fox Seductive Fragrance faded off for Elvis. He would regain his mental faculties then. At the very least, she would not die from the deed.
