Lea laughed softly and allowed Gu Mengmeng to kiss him until his face was covered in water. He did not despise it and let Gu Mengmeng to hang from his neck like a monkey.

That feeling was as though she had clenched her teeth tight and survived alone but when someone started to show some concern, all the feelings of being wronged were even more.
Her tears were not because she was upset but because she felt blessed.
Gu Mengmeng smiled and said, “It’s alright. It has already passed and I have forgotten about it.”
Lea held Gu Mengmeng’s shoulders and kissed the tears dry, then kissed her lips. With his voice trembling due to heartache, he said, “But you cried.”
Gu Mengmeng shook her head and said, “I did not cry because I was upset but because I suddenly felt blessed that there was someone who felt sorry for my suffering.
