A few minutes later, the test result came out. The pregnancy test kit gave a positive—this meant that Bai Qingqing was pregnant.
Although it was still too early and the pregnancy test kit’s result might not be accurate, it was basically on the mark with Curtis’s judgment.
Bai Qingqing looked at him in disbelief for a while, before finally exhaling. “Seems like it’s good timing that we’ve e back today. If it’s a girl, no one will suspect that I had an affair while in a relationship with Winston.”
Curtis grinned, tapping his mate’s beautiful and perky nose tip with his cold finger. “It’s been ten days. You haven’t been feeling hungry?”
“Hungry? No.” As Bai Qingqing said this, she suddenly came to a realization. When she was pregnant with snake eggs, she’d need a lot of energy. Ten days should be about the time in which her appetite increased tremendously.
However, Curtis said, “You have to eat even if you aren’t hungry. Shall I go fry up some soy vinegar eggs for you?”
“Hey, if I’m pregnant with eggs, isn’t it too brutal for you to give me eggs to replenish nourishment?” Bai Qingqing said in amusement.
“Do you want to eat them or not?” Curtis looked at her in a posed state.
Bai Qingqing hesitated for one-thousandth of a second, then replied decisively, “I’ll eat! I’m pregnant now, I want to eat four.”
Soy vinegar eggs were food that Bai Qingqing had taken a great liking to recently, and she didn’t find two enough. Now, she finally had an excuse to eat two more.
“We’ll go with your wishes today, but this won’t happen again next time.” Curtis smiled, before going to the kitchen to fry the eggs.
That night, when Daddy Bai and Mommy Bai returned home at their usual timing, they saw Bai Qingqing alone. Mommy Bai found it strange and asked, “Why isn’t Winston around? Doesn’t he send you back every time?”
