Bab 116: A Man's Promise!
In the living room, the four won sitting there all wore expressions filled with disbelief.
Especially Yukinoshita Haruno. No matter how she looked at it, she still couldn't truly accept that her childhood fiancé wasn't even from this world.
And what made it even harder to swallow was the fact that the man in front of her had now regained his power—becoming an existence that had already stepped beyond the limits of mortal humanity.
All of it slamd straight into Haruno's understanding of reality.
The very existence of "demons" alone was already enough to shake the world to its core. But she never imagined that was only the beginning. The truly terrifying presence was Yukinoshita Akira himself.
"So what you're saying is… now that you've recovered your power, you've beco soone who stands beyond this world?"

"Then what are you going to do? Take over the world? Or sothing even crazier?"
"I don't have any intention of doing that. The real reason I told you all of this… is because there's sothing I need to say."
Seeing the change in Akira's expression, Yukinoshita Haruno instantly felt a bad premonition rise in her chest.
"What is it?"
"If nothing unexpected happens, I'll be leaving for another world soon."
"You're leaving?"
In an instant, Yukinoshita Haruno, Yukinoshita Yukino, and Busujima Saeko all reacted in shock.
Setting aside Yukinoshita Yukino, who still hadn't fully confessed her feelings, the other two already belonged completely to Yukinoshita Akira. They were even bound to him through "engagents."

Beside her, Yukinoshita Yukino glanced at her older sister, then at Akira. She didn't know how she should feel either.

"Wow~ that's really intense~" Busujima Saeko's eyes shimred with a hint of envy, though it quickly faded.
"You bastard, are you showing off to now? Just because you've got girlfriends doesn't an you get to act all high and mighty!" Hiratsuka Shizuka cried out like a defeated dog who had lost the competition.
On the other side, Yukinoshita Haruno—who had been filled with embarrassnt and anger over Akira's sudden move and was just about to push him away—suddenly felt sothing strange.
A power flowed into her body.
Not just that.
A massive flood of information surged straight into her mind.
The Shadow Realm.
The Shadow Legion.
The Shadow Generals.
Akira had given Haruno a portion of his shadow power, granting her the right to freely enter and exit the Shadow Realm.
On top of that, he bestowed upon her command authority over one of the Nine Shadow Legions—the "Shadow Ninja Legion," the most basic of the shadow forces, a legion made up of shadow warriors known as Ninjas.
Beyond that, Akira also used a part of his shadow power to strengthen Yukinoshita Haruno's body itself.
The current Haruno—if she were to face Kibutsuji Muzan as he once was—could slaughter him single-handedly, using just one hand.
"W-What… what exactly just happened?"
Feeling the overwhelming change within herself, Haruno couldn't believe it at all.
A strange, quiet breeze brushed through the air.
Instinctively, she reached out to the darkness inside her heart.
From the shadows, a ninja dressed in pitch-black rose silently into view.
The mont it appeared, the ninja dropped to one knee before Haruno in a gesture of absolute loyalty.
This scene left Yukinoshita Yukino, Busujima Saeko, and Hiratsuka Shizuka completely stunned.
"From now on, Haruno, you are the new commander of the Shadow Legion."
"Is this… so kind of compensation for ?"
Yukinoshita Haruno looked straight at Akira.
"You could say that. Just give a little ti. The flow of ti between worlds is different. In my world, a hundred days only equals a single day here. So… we still have plenty of ti."
"Well, if things have already turned out like this, what else can I even do?"
Feeling how she had leapt from being an ordinary human to becoming sothing extraordinary, Yukinoshita Haruno knew she had no way to run anymore.
Then, Akira turned his gaze toward Yukinoshita Yukino and Busujima Saeko.

And in the process, he gave them gifts as well.
To Yukinoshita Yukino, he granted command over the "Flying Shadow Night Bat Legion."
To Busujima Saeko, he granted command over the "Armor Shadow Samurai Legion."
As for Hiratsuka Shizuka, since their relationship wasn't that of lovers or fiancés, she naturally didn't receive any treatnt like that.

Her older sister's husband had kissed her.
And strangely enough, she didn't feel any hatred toward him at all.
Why was she like this?
"Don't worry. I will give you all a wedding."
Akira lifted his head slightly as he spoke, his voice steady and sincere.
"The biggest wedding this world has ever seen."
And with that, he made his promise.
A promise from a man.
