While Akira was still lost in his thoughts, at so point, a large group of red, saber-toothed lions had gathered around him. They ford a tight encirclent, trapping Akira right in the center.

A sharp burst of air exploded behind him.
From Akira's back, one by one, silver Chains of Heaven shot out at incredible speed.
At that mont, Akira felt a strange and special sensation. With his feet planted firmly on the ground, he felt like a dragon returning to the sea, able to draw out one hundred and thirty percent of his true power. The feeling was intoxicating.
All around him, those "beasts" were pierced through by the Chains of Heaven, dying instantly where they stood.
Dark purple blood stained the ground. Akira gave it a brief glance. From the color alone, it was obvious they weren't ordinary animals, but magical beasts that possessed Magic Power.
Even so, creatures like this couldn't pose even the slightest threat to Akira.
With his feet connected to the earth, the power of the land flowed endlessly into his body, restoring the Magic Power he had spent. At the sa ti, he extended his perception outward.
With the skill Aura Detection, there was no way Akira would waste such a useful ability.
But within a radius of more than ten kiloters, there wasn't a single trace of human aura.
Instead, what he felt in overwhelming numbers were the fluctuations of magical beasts. There were far too many of them. They moved in groups, and their scale went far beyond a single tribe or an ordinary pack.
Rather than a herd, they felt more like an army that had gathered together.
It was hard to believe, but that was the reality. These unknown magical creatures had ford into sothing like a military force.
"What kind of world did I even co to? Everywhere I look, it's filled with magical beasts, and in numbers like this."
Akira opened his eyes, a flash of confusion crossing his gaze.
After all, traveling between worlds never followed any kind of understandable pattern.
With that confusion still in his mind, Akira floated up into the air and shot across the sky, pulling everything around him into his field of vision, searching for any kind of clue.
The land below was barren, like a desert or a wasteland, completely devoid of plants—let alone living beings.
Even though he had just killed so many magical beasts, there wasn't even the slightest increase in his template inheritance level. That ant that in this world, killing monsters wasn't a way to grow stronger.
"Hm? That's… a river?"
Not long after he took off, a winding river ca into Akira's view, cutting through the vast, desolate land.
Its presence stood out sharply.
It was common knowledge that water was the source of life. Humanity itself had always grown and thrived around water.
On top of that, during his flight, Akira had already seen countless stretches of barren land and roaming magical beasts. All of it was enough to prove that this world was stuck in an ancient era, or at the very least, a completely different world that had nothing to do with modern civilization.
Along the way, he had even co across an abandoned village.
The buildings there were made from clay. Even the leftover tableware was mostly pottery, with only a few tal objects mixed in.
Now that he had found a river, if he followed its flow, there was a good chance he would more easily run into intelligent life.
To figure out where he was, the most important thing was to find a thinking, reasoning being he could talk to—even if it wasn't human.
"Baaang—!"
But suddenly, a violent burst of air rang out.
Akira turned his head—and froze.
From the distance, a figure was rapidly approaching at incredible speed.
Not only that, but with his eyesight, Akira could clearly make out that it was a woman flying straight toward him. In front of her was a massive, unfamiliar device.
"Hm? Who are you? Your body is giving off Magical Energy that makes extrely uncomfortable. State your identity, or I can't guarantee you'll keep living."
In the blink of an eye, the other party had already arrived in front of him, staring at Akira with sharp, piercing eyes.
Only then could Akira clearly see the woman before him.
She was dressed in an extrely revealing outfit, especially around her legs, as if she were only wearing a single stocking on one of them. Her long hair draped over her shoulders, and a powerful, arrogant aura radiated from her entire body.
"If you're asking for my identity, shouldn't you introduce yourself first?"
Akira had no intention of backing down.
Right now, his power wasn't restricted. And don't think I won't fight just because you're a woman.
"Hah? How dare you talk to like that. You bastard, today I'll definitely crush you."
The woman pointed a finger at Akira, forming a "gun" gesture. In the next second, Magical Energy began to gather at her fingertip, instantly condensing into a bullet of light.
"We've barely exchanged a few words and you're already jumping to a fight?"
"Shut up! Today, I'm killing you."
"Bang!"
The next mont, the light bullet of Magical Energy shot straight toward Akira.
A sharp, tallic ring echoed through the air.
A silver Chain of Heaven erged from nothingness, blocking the light bullet head-on. The chain itself didn't suffer a single scratch.
"How is that possible? The Chain of Heaven? No, the owner of that weapon is already dead. Where did you get the Chain of Heaven?"
Seeing the drastic change in the woman's expression, Akira narrowed his eyes.
She recognized the Chain of Heaven. She even said that its original owner was dead.
"So, if this woman knows the Chain of Heaven… does that an this is a Fate world?"
Akira squinted slightly.
But the Type-Moon universe had far too many parallel worlds. There were Lostbelts, Singularities, and countless different tilines.
Even for just the "Fifth Holy Grail War," there were several different versions.
Judging by the condition of this place, it was very likely a Lostbelt—or so kind of Singularity.
A sharp rush of air tore through the space around them.
Akira's thoughts kept racing, but his hands never stopped moving.
The Chains of Heaven were summoned again, shooting out from multiple directions at once, attacking his opponent.
"You bastard, stay away from ! That's clearly a weapon created by us gods, and now you dare use it to attack !"
"Alright. That just narrows things down even more. I don't even need to ask anymore."
In his heart, Akira already had a guess—though it still needed ti to be fully confird.
Even though the Chain of Heaven was a Noble Phantasm in the form of a chain, it was never just "one."
From behind Akira and from several other directions, more chains shot out, forming a flawless encirclent.
"Maanna, destroy him for !"
The woman hurled that "flying ark" forward, and an overwhelming amount of Magical Energy began to gather around it.
On the other side, after hearing those words, Akira gave a small, quiet nod.
Now, he could be sure of his suspicion.
