Back at Chaldea, Romani's brow furrowed the mont he heard the unfamiliar voice.
"Romani Archaman. I've heard much about your great na. It's a sha we can't et face-to-face in reality; it truly is a regret of mine."
There wasn't a hint of falsehood in Akira's voice. It was a tone of pure, genuine regret.
This left Ritsuka and Mash stunned. They knew the Doctor was capable, but to be held in such high regard by a mysterious powerhouse... had the Doctor done sothing incredibly legendary they didn't know about?
「You know ? Did you hear about from Ritsuka?」
"No, I didn't learn of you from this 'Last Master.' I know you because my eyes have 'seen' your true form."
「No way... Do you possess Clairvoyance?」
"Oh? You're quick on the uptake. I'd expect nothing less from you, Romani Archaman."
「Who exactly are you? Throughout human history, those with the gift of Clairvoyance can be counted on one hand, and without exception, they are all imnsely powerful entities. So... who are you?」
"You're free to guess. Let's see if you can get it right."
「You're in sopotamia during the Age of Gods, yet you know of my existence... Is it possible? Are you the King of Heroes, Gilgash?」
"Nope. I'm not Gilgash. And just like the rest of you, I'm not a native of sopotamia."
That statent sent Romani into a spiral of deep thought. Various nas flashed through his mind, but he dismissed them one by one. This kind of riddle-solving was truly frustrating.
anwhile, Akira let out a soft chuckle. It was a bit mischievous, but teasing a figure as renowned as the King of Magic, Solomon, was sothing worth being proud of.
"Doctor... he has the Holy Grail."
「What!? What did you just say? He has the Grail? Are you serious!?」
Romani, who had been lost in thought, practically bolted upright from his seat.
He wasn't the only one; the entire staff at Chaldea froze in place. What was happening? They had just arrived and already found the Holy Grail? This was way too fast.
"It's true, Doctor. Both of them are radiating the unmistakable light of the Holy Grail."
「I... I honestly don't know what to say to that.」
After taking a mont to compose himself, Romani took a deep breath and sat back down, his expression becoming deadly serious.
The Holy Grail was one of the primary objectives of this journey. The King of Magic, Solomon, had scattered seven Grails across seven points in human history, distorting ti and creating the Singularities. Their mission, aside from correcting the Human Order, was to secure these Grails.
Their importance couldn't be overstated. Currently, Chaldea had secured six Grails. Each one contained fragnts of information that, when analyzed, revealed coordinates. It was highly likely these coordinates led to Solomon's base. To end the Incineration of the Human Order, they had to find the culprit, making this Grail's recovery crucial.
"How should we address you?"
"Just call Shin Akira."
"Shin Akira, I see... Soone from the Eastern lands?"
"Romani Archaman, I sought out Ritsuka Fujimaru because I want to establish a contract with Chaldea. In other words, I want to make a deal."
"Please, go on." Romani spoke carefully. He was willing to listen to any proposal. As long as it wasn't sothing completely outrageous, they could likely reach an agreent, as the Grail took priority over everything else.
"Currently, sopotamia is under siege by the Three Goddess Alliance. Countless humans have been slaughtered, and the First Dynasty of Uruk is down to its final city, struggling desperately to survive."
「The Three Goddess Alliance?」
"Exactly. An alliance of three goddesses whose goal is the total eradication of humanity," Akira said with a smile. Beside him, Kingu's gaze turned slightly strange.
Technically, the Three Goddess Alliance had been ford through her own initiative. Even now, she and Gorgon were supposedly on the sa side. It was just that for the past month, she had stopped participating in the human massacres.
「So, what is the deal you're proposing?」
"If you want to fix the Human Order, you'll have to defeat the Three Goddess Alliance. As for ... well, I've taken an interest in these goddesses."

"It's simple. Of the Three Goddess Alliance, one is already mine. Another is... difficult to communicate with. And the last one is currently missing. That's the part I find troubleso."
「Huh? One goddess is already 'yours'!?」
"You're focusing on the wrong thing, Romani Archaman."

The small, cute white creature sitting on Mash's shoulder watched the whole scene.
He looked at the two of them with what could only be described as pure exasperation. If you like each other, just say it already! You've wasted so much ti with zero progress despite all these battles. Truly pathetic!
