Theo paused for a mont.

’Church of Seven Virtues?’

He’d heard of that na many tis before.

’’Isn’t that the biggest church in the entire world?’’ he asked, tilting his head.

Jim nodded enthusiastically.

’’No clue why one of them is all the way out here,’’ he said, his voice quiet. ’’But she’d be one you need to be careful of.’’

Theo fell silent for a mont.

The second part of the sentence barely registered for him.

Instead, he was focused on the first part.

’Why would they be all the way out here?’ he thought, brows furrowing. ’Aren’t they only in Europe normally?’

But that thought vanished just as quickly as Jim continued speaking.

’’I see you’re still very confident,’’ he said, his voice hard now. ’’But whatever you do... DO NOT pull the sa shit you did against Cedric!’’

Theo tilted his head faintly.

’’What?’’

’’I’m serious,’’ Jim continued sternly. ’’The Church of Seven Virtues is quite literally one of the strongest organizations on the planet.’’

He glanced around once before lowering his voice even further.

’’From what we know, all of the Seven Virtues are Obsidian Cores.’’

Pausing for a mont, his voice lowered to a whisper.

’’If you sohow disrespect them... you and everyone around you could be in danger.’’

Raising an eyebrow, Theo couldn’t help but make a quick ntal note.

’That many Obsidian Cores?’ he thought. ’That’s practically on the sa level as a large country...’

And that was what was known to the public too.

There were no doubts in his mind that even an organization like that would keep so power hidden.

’’Got it,’’ he finally said, nodding once. ’’While I am not planning to give away that top spot, I won’t humiliate her.’’

Jim let out a heavy sigh.

He sat back down in his seat, feeling like a weight had been lifted off his heart.

’’That’s fine,’’ he said. ’’I doubt they are bothered about three S-rank resources or that small hint of fa.’’

Theo nodded slowly, having co to the sa conclusion.

Then another question popped up in his mind.

’’What about the number two and three by the way?’’

Jim blinked.

Then tilted his head from side to side.

’’Less troubleso than the church lady,’’ he said lightly. ’’But still way too dangerous to, like, humiliate or sothing.’’

’’Number three ca here from Canada and is from one of the two major families there.’’

’’What is their family strength like?’’ Theo asked, curious.

Jim fell silent for a mont, contemplating.

’’Well... they have three Obsidian Cores,’’ he said. ’’But the entire situation over there is fucked up.’’

’’Fucked up?’’

Jim nodded again.

’’Those two top families always try to keep each other in check at all costs,’’ he said. ’’But recently, the S-rank dungeons have grown much more active, making it hard to do both at the sa ti.’’

Theo pressed his lips together.

Dungeons of that level growing more active was no laughing matter.

’’Damn...’’ he muttered, shaking his head.

’’The second rank has a far better situation,’’ Jim continued lightly. ’’He’s from the Ashford family, which is one of the best families in our country.’’

He glanced around for a mont.

And leaned in closer.

’’They even control one of the three SSS-rank dungeons here.’’

Theo’s eyes widened imdiately.

’’...What?’’

’’Yup,’’ Jim continued. ’’Their family controls the one in Denver.’’

Theo remained completely silent.

He couldn’t help but just stare at Jim as the words settled in his mind.

’’Oh, right,’’ Jim realized. ’’You don’t know about SSS-rank dungeons, huh...’’

Narrowing his eyes slightly, Theo finally perked up.

’’SSS-rank dungeons? Elaborate please.’’

Jim scratched the back of his head embarrassingly.

A strange smile appeared on his face as he started.

’’Right,’’ he said. ’’Where do I even start though...’’

After a mont, he slowly nodded to himself.

’’Basically, these dungeons are far stronger than S-rank dungeons and require at least three Obsidian Core hunters to be near them at all tis.’’

Theo’s brows furrowed together.

’’Three Obsidian Cores...?’’

’’If they need just that to guard it, what would happen if one breaks out?’’

Jim raised his shoulders.

’’No one knows,’’ he said. ’’It’s never happened before after all.’’

Theo leaned back slightly.

He almost couldn’t believe what he’d heard.

’So this danger has always just been there?’ he thought, feeling his heart pound inside his chest. ’That’s... crazy.’

Jim cleared his throat, snapping him out of his thoughts.

’’It’s been hidden from the public for the exact sa reason as what you’re feeling right now,’’ he continued. ’’No one wanted nationwide chaos after all.’’

Glancing up at the sky, he couldn’t help but shake his head.

’’Just think about it, if everyone knew about this, there’d always be a few dumbasses who’d try their luck.’’

He paused for a mont.

’’And who knows what kind of thing they’d provoke inside there...’’

A shudder ran down Theo’s spine as he thought about it.

He quickly nodded his head.

’’Yeah, I can totally imagine that.’’

Jim chuckled faintly.

He accepted another drink from the waitress before continuing.

’’I don’t even want to know what would happen if people found out now,’’ he said, shaking his head. ’’It’d probably be the end of the country.’’

Swallowing hard, Theo nodded once again.

Then sothing suddenly occurred to him.

’’Wait a second,’’ he said. ’’How many of these SSS-rank dungeons are there?’’

Jim blinked.

’’Worldwide?’’

Theo nodded.

Jim let out a low whistle.

’’No clue,’’ he admitted. ’’The exact number is one of the best-kept secrets on the planet.’’

He took a sip from his drink.

’’From what I’ve heard, almost every country has at least one.’’

’’So have multiple though.’’

Theo felt his heart skip a beat.

Just by that, the total would be well over a hundred and fifty.

’’That many...’’ he mumbled.

Jim nodded.

’’Also, from what my parents told ,’’ he started, raising three fingers. ’’The States have a total of three.’’

’’One of which is in Denver, another in Miami, protected by the Blackwoods...’’

Theo’s head snapped up, his eyes widening.

’’...and then the final one in Alaska, which is kept by the Whitmores.’’
