Vale closed her eyes, and divine light enveloped her body. After a while, she opened her eyes and said lowly, "There’s another space overlapping this one. We need to find a way to enter it—that’s where the fish scale is hidden."

"But how are we supposed to do that?" Cocona rubbed her head, trying to ss up her already short hair. She wanted to think but suddenly realized her brain functioned on the sa level as Drake’s.

"Now I finally understand why Drake always wants to blow everything up and be done with it," Cocona muttered.

"Try searching around the room. There has to be so clue," Benjamin said, then started looking. The others quickly searched the room, hoping to find sothing useful.

"Why are there so many skeletons here? Are these all people the William family killed?" Alice asked.

"No doubt about it," Ron shrugged.

The skeletons were piled on top of each other. It was hard to imagine just how many had died at the hands of the William family.

"Found it!" Cocona’s loud voice suddenly rang out, catching everyone’s attention. She was holding a strange black notebook—not pure black, but more like the color of dried blood. Even more disturbingly, so peculiar, slimy substance kept dripping from it onto the floor.

"What did you find, Captain?" Ron couldn’t help but ask, looking a bit hesitant as he stared at the notebook in Cocona’s hand.

"Don’t you see how strange this notebook is? There’s sothing hidden inside!"

Benjamin raised his hand, and the notebook floated up from Cocona’s hand, hovering in the air, glowing with light.

"Hey!" Cocona frowned.

Benjamin gave her a brief, expressionless glance, then let the notebook fall back into her hands. In a serious tone, he said, "This notebook holds an extre dark power. If we open it, it could be hazardous. Of course..."

"Danger cos with opportunity."

Both Benjamin and Cocona spoke in unison. They looked at each other, a decision already made.

"We’re coming too!" Ron quickly said.

Alice nodded. "That’s right—we’re a team."

Determination flickered in Vale’s eyes as well.

[Why did Mom and Dad only love Lucian? I’ve always wondered about that. But I realized—I don’t hate Lucian. I also don’t need Mom and Dad’s love.

Why was I born in this form? If only I could be as beautiful as Lucian...

I’m so ugly. So ugly. So ugly. So ugly!!!]

It started with a few random diary entries—nothing unusual. Soon, the pages beca filled with the word "ugly" repeatedly, and each letter scrawled with growing frenzy and madness, overlapping and tearing at each other, with no way out.

Then, suddenly, the page turned into a sheet of clear water—so clear it could serve as a mirror. But what shocked them was the reflection: all of them had transford into monsters, hideous creatures with fish heads and small, withered bodies.

The "them" beneath the surface stared up with bulging, lifeless fish eyes. And before anyone could react, their bodies turned to water, sucked into the surface of the watery page—vanishing without a trace!

They didn’t know that when they were pulled into the book, a ray of light, moving at incredible speed, followed after them—also drawn into the book.

The group of Cocona was sucked into the book. The scene before them had completely changed when they opened their eyes again. It was still the William family’s castle, but everything seed a bit hazy, like a layer of thin mist. Occasionally, water bubbles floated unexpectedly in the air.

"This is a big order. It’s best if you don’t make any mistakes!"

John’s voice rang out, causing Cocona’s group to look surprised. Only then did they realize that not only John but also the deceased were here, including Anna and the others.

"Eryon..." Cocona said in a low voice.

She saw the incredibly perfect-looking young man standing with his arms crossed, his face still arrogantly unchanged.

Upon hearing Cocona’s voice, he glanced back and asked, "What’s the matter?"

Cocona looked at Eryon in a daze as if she hadn’t expected him to appear before her like this. Then, she shook her head, sneering, "Nothing, I just really want Leonard to see this scene."

Only the deceased and those sucked into the journal appeared in this space. If Eryon weren’t dead, he wouldn’t be here. Yet Leonard still dared to say he could sense Eryon’s existence, just like Nerio’s. It was so ridiculous.

Eryon seed unable to understand Cocona’s words. He frowned and paid her no more attention, as everything in this castle disgusted him.

"Thank you, talented exorcists, for coming to this castle. Please, co inside. Our young lady has been waiting for you for a long ti."

The butler’s voice drew everyone’s attention. The butler seed ordinary in this place, with no face like a dead fish.

"Young lady?" Vale murmured.

As if hearing her voice, the butler smiled and nodded, saying, "Yes, the esteed young lady Elena, who revived the entire William family. Please, co in."

It seed sothing had changed...

After the butler led the way into the castle, John turned to Vale with a reprimanding look. "Be careful with what you say and do. Do you need to remind you who the William family belongs to?!"

Vale lowered her head and said nothing further.

John sneered and quickly followed the butler.

The group of Cocona exchanged glances, and just then, Eryon’s voice rang out: "What exactly are you all discussing that you’re hiding from ?"

Eryon’s instincts were as sharp as ever, but Cocona’s group wouldn’t reveal anything.

"It’s nothing. Let’s move quickly." Benjamin said, and then quickly followed the NPCs.

The scene that appeared before all of them inside the castle imdiately astonished them, though there was also a sense of déjà vu.

Everything inside the castle had changed. It was now more beautifully decorated, with no cold stone blocks scattered around. Warm golden lights covered the castle, and the walls were adorned with many paintings.

However, what caught their attention was the scene inside one of the paintings.

A beautiful girl stood in the center of the painting, surrounded by other "people," but these "people" were all monsters with hideous fish heads and grotesque bodies. The only beautiful girl in the painting stood out, glowing.

Connected with what had been happening outside in the other space, it was easy to guess that the role of the William family had been reversed. This place seed like a mirror world, everything turned upside down.

At this mont, the door to a room on the first floor suddenly opened. The once old and worn door had changed entirely, becoming extravagant and brilliant. A beautiful girl erged from the room, wearing a classic and stunning dress, her long white hair styled elegantly.

She looked at the exorcists who had just entered the room and smiled. "Welco, honored guests. I’m so pleased that you’ve co here. I hope you can solve the problems of the William family right now."
