The announcent of a new dungeon appearing had spread across the entire continent. Predictions suggested that the barrier of this dungeon might be even more significant than that of [The Glutton]. The Association of Espers worked quickly to arrange evacuations and prepare for the dungeon's ergence.

Upon learning that the cathedral would take another two days to complete, Silvanus prepared to leave—there was nothing left for him to do here, and he needed to prepare for his appearance in this dungeon.

Just as Silvanus turned to leave, a tall figure suddenly blocked his path. It was none other than Drake.

Drake lowered his gaze to Silvanus and asked, "Will I be able to summon Prophet in the upcoming dungeon?"

Finishing one dungeon and already eager to charge into the next—he was a hero, wasn't he? Silvanus nearly said that out loud.

Instead, he suddenly asked, "Do you think the Prophet is strong?"

Silvanus was genuinely curious about how soone as powerful as Drake perceived Prophet.

Drake answered without hesitation, "Prophet? Of course, he's strong. His final move was sothing I could never have imagined."

Silvanus hadn't expected Drake to hold such a high opinion of Prophet. This ant his act had been an outstanding success! He couldn't help but feel satisfied.

Sensing Drake's doubtful yet expectant gaze, Silvanus replied mysteriously, "Humans can summon Prophet, or any other deity, but that depends entirely on their will. I can't say for sure."

Silvanus left the headquarters without giving Drake a chance to ask anything more. Like last ti, Frank's subordinates couldn't track him down or determine where he had disappeared.

Drake gritted his teeth. "I find him just as annoying as Prophet!"

"Captain, that's not the sa at all," Fiona said while chewing on candy. "Priest Silvanus at least talks to you. If it were Prophet, he probably wouldn't even bother."

Standing nearby, Frank said, "Being able to summon a deity who's completely opposite to yourself is quite a miracle."

Just then, Drake suddenly furrowed his brows. "Wait—Silvanus didn't give the black gem this ti!"

The others paused for a mont upon hearing that.

Then, Silas spoke up from the side, "Maybe the black gem was just a dium to connect humans with the gods. Now that humanity believes in their existence and faith has even ford, the black gem is no longer necessary."

"Classic Silas..." soone murmured.

Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Drake walked off.

anwhile, Silvanus had already entered his performance space. On his way back, he had even seen banners and billboards featuring the face of Prophet at the mont of vanquishing the monster, along with bold slogans expressing humanity's love and admiration for their new deity.

[How do you feel about it?] The system's voice suddenly chid in.

Silvanus replied slowly, "Not bad. Feels like having fans in my past life."

Hearing that, the system couldn't help but chuckle.

Ignoring it, Silvanus checked his Prophet card. Thanks to Drake's protection and the fact that the monsters hadn't attacked him much in the previous dungeon, the Prophet card had sustained minimal damage. It could still be used—no need for another god to appear.

Silvanus then turned his attention to God's Realm. His final, devastating attack had all been thanks to it. The scene where the monster's ti appeared to rewind was rely a visual effect crafted through Cinematic Effects. In reality, the mont he triggered the effect, he had already drawn the monster into God's Realm.

The mont the powerful monster was trapped in God's Realm, it beca motionless. And now, as Silvanus gazed into God's Realm once more, the beast had vanished entirely. In its place, God's Realm seed slightly more prominent than before.

So, God's Realm could absorb monsters to grow. However, the speed at which it absorbed them remained unclear, requiring further research. Silvanus would need to be cautious when using it.

Still, this discovery alone was enough to make him pleased!

Ti inside his performance space flowed slightly slower than the outside world. Silvanus set an alarm, and when he woke up again, only ten minutes remained before the dungeon opened.

"I hope all the civilians have managed to evacuate from the dungeon's affected area in ti," Silvanus murmured.

He looked up. The stars parted as if understanding his intentions, revealing a live broadcast of the dungeon's surroundings, identical to what people outside could see.

[Can't believe it's this dungeon I'm starting to lose my appetite, haha.]

[Not gonna lie, I don't like these slimy monsters at all...]

[I ca here because I heard a god capable of protecting humanity has appeared. Is that true? Could the script let humans win this ti?]

[Brother, you have no idea how mighty Prophet is. Here, I've got a video of the final battle in 'The Glutton' dungeon—watch it and get educated!]

[If Prophet shows up initially and predicts everything, wouldn't humanity's chances of winning skyrocket?]

[I doubt Prophet will appear right away. And even if he does, what are we supposed to watch? I need blood, I need gore!]

[Honestly, even if Prophet does show up, there'll still be blood. The corruption in this dungeon is hard to control, and humans still have to face it to gather clues. You know how it goes, haha.]

Prophet might appear earlier if you viewers spoiled more details—because Prophet is just an ordinary person secretly peeking at your comnts!

Silvanus thought to himself, his expression deadpan.

At that mont, the countdown hit zero. Countless beams of light shot down across the dungeon's affected area.

Eight people had been chosen...

[Hahaha, classic! The system knows how to keep viewers engaged—why are the first picks always newbies or weak espers?]

[That's how you hook the audience. The more brutal the opening, the more entertaining it is.]

A flood of frenzied comnts filled the screen like gleeful specters.

After all, Silvanus thought that this was just another entertainnt program for them.

anwhile, the eight players had appeared in a dense forest deep within the mountains, taking on the roles of explorers. Among them, five were complete newcors. Worse yet, the remaining three were rogue espers—outlaws wanted for their savage actions inside dungeons. These individuals sotis killed other espers to steal their abilities or murdered just to clear their path to victory.

One of the rogue espers sneered, "Just my damn luck. Why aren't there any other espers? What the hell can these newbies do?"

The man had a large scar across his face, his expression fierce and nacing—the group leader.

A wiry, cunning-looking subordinate chuckled and said, "Why don't we kill the newbies as an appetizer? They're useless anyway."

Another man frowned. "What a stupid idea. This is a special dungeon—there will be rules. Let's make them test the rules for us first, haha."

"You can't do this! This is a cri!"

A woman among the newcors suddenly shouted, stepping forward to shield the others.

The scarred man stepped up and casually swiped his hand—sending the woman flying. She hit the ground motionless, blood pooling around her. She was dead in a single strike.

"Hahaha! Talking about laws inside a dungeon? Do we look like those fake-ass governnt dogs to you? Hahaha!" The short, rat-faced man let out a shrill laugh.

The leader scoffed, but suddenly, he frowned. "Why the hell is it raining?"

Rain began falling without warning, and the forest turned eerily dim. The wind howled like so unknown creature whispering in the dark. The group fell silent. The remaining newcors clung to each other, their faces pale with fear and despair.

The rain quickly drenched them, its texture oddly sticky.

Then, a worried voice suddenly rang out beside them.

"Why are you all standing in the rain?"
