The humans stared in horror at the being looming in the heavens, for the first ti truly realizing how small and insignificant they were.

That thing was so vast it could have swallowed a quarter of their continent in a single bite.

As if to flaunt its power, massive tentacles crashed from the skies, sweeping across the ground. The earth was overturned wherever they struck, and stones and soil were hurled into the air.

Vines suddenly tightened around the humans, dragging them toward the gray mist at the dungeon’s edge.

According to the rules, no one could enter that mist — those who did would never return.

But now, even that danger seed safer than staying on this battlefield.

Fiona clutched the vine around her waist and whispered, "Dorian..." Her voice trembled as tears stread down her face. "He’ll win, won’t he? We’ll win. Please... don’t die!"

No one answered. No one even heard her.

Amid the raging storm, Silvanus spoke calmly: "Raphael, leave."

[You haven’t even mastered your power completely yet!]

"I’ve already passed through the Cosmic Tree, Raphael. You know that. When will you all stop treating like a child?"

Silvanus said softly. There was no response from Raphael this ti.

High above, the Outer God let out a roar — a deep, distant, and indescribably alien sound. The very earth split beneath the force of it, shattering any mind that dared to listen.

Yet strangely enough, Silvanus could understand its aning.

It was a challenge.

"I tore you apart once before," it said. "And I’ll do it again. There’s no doubt about that."

"Then let’s disappear together..." Silvanus murmured.

At that mont, a blinding light flared. A vast halo took shape in the air, ancient runic circles spinning within it, their unreadable symbols radiating outward like the edges of a newborn sun.

His platinum hair fluttered in the wind as three pairs of wings burst from his back, tearing through the light, spreading wide and magnificent. His entire form was glowing — only his silhouette was visible, too bright to discern any detail.

The six wings extended from behind his nape, and above his head hovered a halo woven from countless stars, gleaming like a celestial crown.

His presence alone tore through the darkness — carving out a radiant dominion of his own, bathed in sunlight.

That radiant figure suddenly raised his hand — and the sky exploded the next instant.

Blinding blasts erupted from the void, scattering prismatic light like shards of a shattered rainbow — beautiful, yet lethally intense.

The explosion was so imnse that it instantly engulfed the Outer God, flooding everything in a blinding white radiance.

A thunderous roar echoed across the heavens. Then, Silvanus’s body vanished from where he stood in the blink of an eye. The blast consud the space he had just occupied, swallowing it in darkness. All that could be seen were streaks of light tearing through the night — chaos of shadow and brilliance interwoven, flashing too fast for mortal eyes to follow.

By the end, to the distant observers, all that remained was a hazy blur — a storm of light and darkness colliding in endless turmoil.

But within that storm, the battle raged on.

The Outer God bellowed, plunging its tentacles deep into the earth. The ground instantly blackened, cracked, and died — nothing living remained.

Its tentacles coiled forward, rging to form an enormous spear brimming with seething dark energy.

Above, a spear of light tore through the heavens, Silvanus’s towering spectral form facing the godlike monstrosity head-on. He lunged forward like a tempest, radiance cutting through existence itself.

"———!"

The sound shattered the world. Power t power, neither side yielding.

The Outer God’s roar shook the void:

"Why must it co to this?! Surrender everything to ! Fall with into corruption! Why—why?!"

"If that foolish bird hadn’t co... You would have been mine!"

Silvanus didn’t even understand which world the Outer God’s words ca from anymore — his mind was blank, filled only with one thought:

I have to win. I have to win. I must win!

"I told you—let’s die together!"

BOOM!!!

"———!!!"

The sound stretched on endlessly — an explosion that obliterated the very existence of the dungeon.

Through the searing brilliance, Silvanus saw the light devouring the Outer God’s body, consuming the darkness. But his own body, too, was pierced through by countless tentacles. The radiant energy tried desperately to purge the darkness — yet it did nothing.

It only made the pain worse. Gods weren’t supposed to feel pain — and yet he did. How unfair.

Silvanus could feel his body being torn apart, buried in shadow, until even a fragnt of his consciousness began to fray.

Darkness enveloped him. And then, he sank into nothingness.

Raphael... Raphael... you have to get . Again. No matter how many tis it takes... You have to get .

A powerful void vortex was born from the ruins of that cataclysmic battle, twisting and consuming everything in its path. The entire dungeon vanished from the world instantly, as though swallowed by a black hole—leaving behind not even a trace.

Within the mist, the humans could only feel the branches around them wither away, utterly lifeless. Every tremor outside struck their hearts like thunderous blows.

At that very mont, outside, Drake suddenly clutched his head in agony. It felt as though sothing had been torn away from him, leaving his entire body wracked with pain. Beside him, Leonard covered his face; whether he was crying or screaming in anguish, no one could tell.

"Prophet..." Drake could only mumble the word before his eyes rolled back and he collapsed.

"Dorian... no... is he truly dead?" For once, Fiona didn’t scream or wail. Tears stread down her face in silence.

They might be trapped here forever—but if the god had truly vanished, what would beco of their continent? Would it be erased? Would they all cease to exist?

The continent that had been struggling day by day... would finally disappear altogether.

Fiona clenched the ashen remains of the withered branch before her. Alice held her gently, trying to comfort her.

Nyx murmured, "We’ll die here... slowly... without even seeing the continent’s fate."

"No. Let’s go. Let’s find a way out. Maybe... maybe we’ll be the exception!"

Wiping her tears, Fiona pushed herself to her feet.

At that mont, a faint glimr appeared in the distance. The group imdiately noticed, their bodies tensing instinctively, expressions wary.

But when the light ca closer, they realized—it was just a slight, blue glow.

The light floated before them briefly, then drifted away, occasionally curling and weaving as if beckoning.

Nyx said softly, "It wants us to follow."

Without hesitation, they obeyed. They had no other choice left.

The path ahead was shrouded in thick mist they could barely see each other. Only that lone blue light guided them onward.

That day, the entire continent quaked. The shockwave rippled through the land as if reshaping it anew.

The once-torn sky healed, the cracks vanished as though they had never been, and the heavens shone blue and clear—as if the storms had never co.

For the first ti in over a year of endless struggle against hell itself, the humans of this world were greeted by actual sunlight.

And the threat that had lood over them every waking mont... was gone.

"Is this... really not a dream?"

No—it wasn’t a dream. He had sacrificed everything, not to paint an illusion for the lives he sought to protect, but to create the reality of that dream.
