The area where Zhao Kingdom and Cyan Wolf Ridge have the largest border is mainly divided into two parts.
One is a large river stretching over hundreds of miles. The river water is muddy, bottomless, and flows violently without stop.
The river is filled with whirlpools of various sizes, possessing a strong suction force that even prevents wood and feathers from floating.
This river is called the Sha River, also known as the Ghost River. As its na suggests, entering this river is like seeing a ghost, making survival difficult.
The other is a mountain range extending for hundreds of miles.
The mountains are less than a thousand feet high, but are shrouded all year round in a mysterious black fog that not only confuses the five senses but is also highly poisonous.
This mountain range is called the Black Wind Mountains, and few who enter, whether human or demon, co out alive.
The Ghost River and Black Wind Mountains separate the demon-filled Cyan Wolf Ridge from the human territory of Zhao Kingdom.
Even if occasionally so demons cross, they are just a few, not affecting the overall situation.

The whirlpools that scattered across the areas quickly disappeared, making it no different from an ordinary river...
As for the movents in the Black Wind Mountains, they were even more astounding.

Suddenly, a thunderous voice that buzzed in one’s ear resounded from a hilltop.

A hill began to move, slowly rising.
Monts later, it transford into a silver-gray Hill Giant with limbs and a head.
Standing four to five hundred feet tall, its body was covered in house-sized boulders embedded like muscles, not much different from the Young Wolf Lord at his peak.
"Those cursed wolves restricting us, not allowing our clan to grow strong, perhaps we should migrate to the other side of the Sha River!" The Hill Giant bellowed, its voice shaking the skies.
Subsequently, more and more hills rose from the ground, turning into colossal Hill Giants one after another.
Their sizes were not as imposing as the leading giant, but even the smallest stood fifty to sixty feet tall!
They emanated a deep and frenzied aura, scaring many monsters and wild animals to flee desperately.

In another location west of the Ghost River, over sixty miles in is a forest.
The trees are lush and towering, each over ten feet tall, having grown for hundreds if not thousands of years.
"Roar!"
From within the dense forest ca a terrifying beast roar, followed by a large mass of red flas leaping out.
Upon closer inspection, it wasn’t red flas but a giant Lion Demon entirely fiery red, its fur blazing like roaring flas.
The Lion Demon stretches a hundred feet long, emanating a savage and domineering presence, steaming heat from its pores forming large areas of mist, its every step causing the earth to tremble, instilling fear in all creatures.
Most horrifying is its possession of three heads.
One large and two small, yet all are extrely ferocious, the corners of their mouths dripping a noxious yellow drool that ’sizzles’ as it lts large sections of rock upon contact with the ground.
"We are the noble Sun Saint Tribe, flowing with the most noble blood of the saintly race... In the Ancient Era, these humble Wolf Demons were rely our servants!"
"On the other side of the Sha River, there are countless fresh and weak blood als waiting for us. Devour them, strengthen our tribe, and one day we will restore our ancient glory..."
The Three-headed Lion Demon roared in fury.
From the dense forest behind, group after group of slightly smaller Lion Demons ca running out, each with a fierce gleam in their eyes, staring at the opposite bank of the Sha River.

Beside the Black Wind Mountain range, in a large swamp, the surface was covered densely with green algae, constantly bubbling with large amounts of white foam rising from the bottom.
’Thunk!’
At so mont, a massive shadow erged from the water, sending layers of waves surging.
This was a water monster covered in tentacles, rising from the swamp, its size not much smaller than the previous Hill Giant.
Its entire body was black and irregularly shaped, with reflective sli flowing over its slippery surface.
The number of tentacles was possibly in the hundreds or thousands, each as large as millennia-old trees, and on them grew nurous fine buds, which seed to be constantly wriggling.
’Krr-krr glug-glug!’
The water monster made an indistinct sound, like a roar, or perhaps a chant.
Then, one by one, the tentacles broke off from its body, launching into the water to float on the surface.
They quickly absorbed water to expand in size, transforming into smaller water monsters resembling their parent, swiftly swimming to the shore and stopping.
"My children, help see what’s beyond the mountain. Ancestral mories tell there are treasures there that will allow to evolve again..."
As soon as the voice fell silent.
The small water monsters ’whizzed’ rapidly forward.
Their movent on land was not much slower than on water!

In other regions surrounding the Black Wind Mountain range, nurous monsters from different races made movents at this mont.
Among these monsters.
There were black Deer Demons covered in sharp spikes, with a half-transparent crystal similar to a ruby on their chests, capable of emitting a Red Light that shatters everything;
There were black shadows without a tangible form, indistinguishable in appearance, flying like ghosts in the sky, causing trees to wither, beasts to rot, and rivers to dry up wherever they passed;
There were massive mantises taller than humans, their bodies covered in a thick chitin layer, with two green forelimbs as sharp as swords, flashing with chilling light when swung, with whooshing sounds that were startling;
There were also swarms of blood-colored insects flying in the air with a ’buzz,’ sotis forming a chaotic ball and sotis dispersing to resemble terrifying ghost faces.
Wherever they passed, not a blade of grass would grow, everything was devoured clean...
Today, the outposts along the Zhao Kingdom’s border and Cyan Wolf Ridge were suddenly breached.
The other demon species in Cyan Wolf Ridge, suppressed for centuries by the Wolf Demons, were extrely excited, sharpening their blades and charging towards the direction of the Human Race.
