The next day ca quickly with the early rise of the sun. As early as seven in the morning, the sun was already up in the corner of the sky and the temperature was already making so people sweat as the people in Balon City rushed toward the venue for the tournant.

His match against the Black Rose Magic Academy was the 11th match of the day. After finding this out, Alex looked for the na of the academy which Laura had transferred to; he still didn’t know if Laura was going to be the one to compete or not since there were still other Core mages from the sa academy who were students.
It didn’t take long to find the na of the Blue Void Magic Academy, which was placed in the 15th match spot for the day, and their opponent was the Seren Moon Magic Academy, which was ranked 10th in the previous tournant.
He would be going out to fight first before Laura’s new academy.
From the side, the vice dean glanced at Alex with an expression that showed that she wanted to say sothing but she remained silent in the end.
After another minute passed, the projection disappeared and the nas of the academies that were going to compete first appeared next.
West Mount Magic Academy Vs Holy Judgnt Magic Academy.

The blue water bullets tore through the air with impressive speed as they approached their target, leaving a blue trail of light behind them.
However, his opponent was only a second slower and was done with his star patterns at the mont his opponent fired the siren shots.
The student from West Mount Magic Academy had two dazzling yellow star patterns in front of him after he finished connecting his stars, which represented the wind elent.
Seeing the multiple huge water bullets coming for him, a look of calmness could be seen on his face as he voiced out.
"Air blast!"
The next mont, the two star patterns in front of him trembled slightly before a thunderous blast was heard.
Boom!
A violent shockwave spread out in the direction where the two star patterns were facing. All of the water bullets exploded into water droplets one after the other before falling to the ground, and a strong wind blew the hair of the water mage backwards, forcing him to narrow his eyes.
Both of them summoned their stars again but this ti, the water mage summoned ten stars while the wind mage summoned only five stars.
Without surprise, the wind mage ford his star pattern before his opponent was able to complete his two star patterns.
"Swift feet!"
After casting the spell, a pair of translucent yellow boots ford around the student’s legs but stayed under his knees.
He moved after that.
Whoosh!
The speed of the wind mage increased drastically after using swift feet, his figure turned blurry as he moved toward his opponent, leaving afterimages behind him.
Seeing this, the water mage didn’t panic and was already done with his star patterns.
He sent out another wave of siren shots towards his opponent before jumping backwards and landing several ters away from his previous location.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
The wind mage moved like a fish in water. With his speed buffed by his spell, he easily weaved through the middle of the siren shots like a phantom and dodged everything completely before continuing toward his opponent.
In the blink of an eye, he was less than five ters away from the water mage and had begun to summon his stars. The yellow stars of the wind elent appeared slowly and flew after the wind mage like stringed objects.
Since Swift Feet was a spell that would keep working as long as the mage still had enough mana to maintain it, the mage didn’t need to end it and could still use other spells while still using it.
The water mage leapt away once again after seeing how close the wind mage had gotten. He summoned his blue stars while in the air, and five stars were already floating around him by the ti he landed on the ground.
While watching his approaching opponent, he began to connect his stars and quickly ford a single star pattern.
"Water blade!"
A dazzling blue star pattern stood above the water mage from which a ter-long water blade flew out and shot toward the approaching wind mage in front, or so everyone thought.
But it turned out that the mont the wind mage saw the blue star pattern above the head of his opponent, he shot to the side with a sudden increase in speed and summoned the remaining five stars of his elent and began to form two star patterns!
This showed that he had been purposely suppressing his speed just to catch his opponent off guard. So when the water blade flew forward, the wind mage had already moved to the side with two yellow star patterns in front of him.

After the voice of the wind mage rang out, an explosion went off beside the water mage as a terrifying pressure crashed into him from the side and sent his body flying through the air like a broken kite.
It was so fast that even the referees were unable to react on ti, they didn’t expect the wind mage to pull such a move.

The body of the water mage flew for dozens of ters before crashing into the barrier that was around the arena with a loud sound that made the bodies of the spectators shudder from imaginary pain.
All of them looked at the arena with rapt attention and focused gazes, wondering if the water mage was all right.
What they saw next stunned them. The water mage who had dropped to the ground was shrouded in a faint blue glow that surrounded his entire body like a human-shaped cocoon.
It was a protective magic item!
Looks of surprise appeared on the faces of so people; the water mage actually had a magic item with him. It seed like this match was far from over.
The wind mage also frowned upon seeing this and was about to move but was stopped by one of the referees who appeared in front of him at this mont while the other one went to where the water mage had fallen, It occurred to them that the boy had yet to get up even after so seconds had passed.
After the referee went to check on him, he announced that the water mage had passed out despite the protection from his magic item but luckily did not sustain any damage.
With that, the victory was announced for West Mount Magic Academy and cheers exploded through the stadium. The students from West Mount were even jumping around about their win and chanting the na of the wind mage with admiration.
After all, their academy was ranked 22nd in the previous tournant while Holy Judgnt was ranked 14th; the gap between the two academies was huge.
While the wind mage left the arena and returned to his academy’s sitting area with pride, the water mage was brought out by the referees and handed over to one of his teachers.
