anwhile, Alex began the crafting process for the space vortex spell, and 50,000 exp was instantly deducted from his total exp on his command for the crafting to begin.

The system sent a notification to show that the spell was being crafted. Alex then tried to use the craftsman skill again, but it didn’t work. He realised that it was impossible to use the skill while it was crafting a spell; he had to wait for the entire crafting process to be complete.
Alex found this troubleso, he couldn’t bring Alicia ho without doing what he had in mind.
Luckily, crafting the space vortex did not take as long as Alex had thought. After all, crafting the warden of the rift had taken quite so ti back then.
But this ti, it only took a few minutes for the crafting to be completed and the spell was added to his spell slots.
The system sent a notification to Alex after the crafting was completed and showed him the ranks of the spell; he had seen this earlier.
The spell could be used from the Core rank to the Sage mage rank; an additional vortex would appear with the increase of every rank. If he used it as a Core spell, only one vortex would appear.
But if he cast it as a Sage rank spell, six space vortexes would appear!
After successfully crafting the spell, Alex wanted to test it out. He imdiately turned to face Alicia, who was behind him.
The windrend flinched when Alex turned to face her so suddenly, his white mask made it impossible for her to know what mood he was in.
"W-what?" She asked softly, trying not to sound scared while she was, in fact, horrified.
"Attack with your wind ability," Alex stated.
Alicia "..."
Why? Just why do you want to give you a reason to attack back? Just let go if you don’t want to keep , please!
Alicia felt like crying her soul out, why would this human freak want her to attack him? Wasn’t this the sa as asking her to poke the wound of an enraged monster? He would definitely kill her if she did!
"W-why? I-i don’t want to." She stuttered, a defensive expression on her face.
Alex easily saw through the worries of the beast and told her that he wanted to test out sothing and wouldn’t attack her.
When he saw that Alicia was still hesitant about attacking him, he said he would attack if she didn’t.
Alicia "..."
’Are all humans such bullies?’
Left with no other option, she waved her slender arms that had now healed completely and summoned a large wind sphere that was the size of a small car and threw it at Alex.
Swoooosh!
The fast spinning air ball caused the wind current in the area to change as the ground ripped along its path.
Seeing the incoming sphere, Alex’s eyes lit up with the silver white glow of the space elent as ten stars appeared around him and quickly connected into two star patterns.
"Space vortex," Alex mumbled calmly, suppressing his excitent over his experint.
The next mont, the two star patterns moved in front of him and ford a five-ter-wide space vortex in front of Alex. The space vortex resembled a tear in reality that led to a white space that was constantly churning with silver liquid.
It looked very much like a gateway whenever he used Void Walk but this ti, others could see it.
A powerful suction force ca out from the space vortex after it ford, just in ti for the wind sphere that Alicia had shot out to reach him. The suction force easily sucked the sphere over and it disappeared into the vortex without causing a commotion.
Alicia "..."
What the hell is that thing?!
She was once again left in shock at the mysterious abilities of this human.
Alex nodded, in satisfaction before controlling the vortex to spit the sphere back; that was one of this spell’s uses after all.
The space vortex rotated and showed its other side, this side of the vortex looked just like the side that had swallowed the sphere.
Alicia looked in confusion as to why the vortex had spun around and was now facing her. Her confusion deepened when she saw the vortex turn again and face another direction, away from her.
The next mont, her eyes widened.
Boom!
Like a blast from a cannon, the sphere that the vortex had swallowed just a while ago was shot out and flew into the distance almost instantly.
Alicia was in another state of shock, unable to believe that it was the sa sphere that she had created. It had beco bigger, faster, and its spinning force was stronger!
Her eyes were even barely able to keep up after it was shot out.
While Alicia was in shock, Alex nodded in delight, extrely pleased with the effect of the spell.
It was definitely worth the 50,000 exp points that he had used to craft it.
The only thing that he was wondering about now was how many spells a single vortex could hold at the sa ti and what would happen if a living creature went inside.
Should he ask Alicia to go in? Alex thought to himself while glancing at the windrend through the corner of his eyes.
’Nah, it would be a loss if sothing happened to her inside.’ Alex discarded the Idea before looking at his system profile again, now that he was done with the space vortex spell, he could move to other things.
He still had over 70k exp points and could craft a spell that he would use as a leash to make sure Alicia didn’t misbehave when he wasn’t present.
Alex opened the craftsman skill panel again and began to craft. He first picked the space elent and then chose the customised crafting option, after giving the description of the spell that he was hoping to craft, a few options appeared.
After scanning through them, Alex wasn’t satisfied with any of them and then moved to the lightning elent and did the sa thing.
While looking through the available options, Alex found a spell that suited his needs.

Perfect, now he could reveal his identity to Alicia and let her enter the city without fearing that she might expose him or go on a rampage if he wasn’t around.
After all, she was a Divine rank magic beast. If she went on a rampage and he wasn’t around to stop her, Balon City would without a doubt be wiped out.
Alex imdiately began the crafting process of the spell. He imdiately paid the 50k exp points needed, and the system started.
After a while, the crafting was completed and Alex received a notification.
"Alicia, co over here." Alex voiced out as he slowly took off the all-knowing mask.
Alicia was about to take a step when she saw the human remove his mask. She was expecting to see the aged face of an evil old man, but what she saw shocked her to her core.
’How is he so young and handso?!’
