Alex received a notification from the system after watching the spider lord get electrocuted by the lightning chains for seven minutes, which was how long the spider lord had managed to stay alive before finally crossing over.
The thick sll of roasted flesh filled the lightning cage, and the charred corpse of the spider lord was constantly letting out smoke.
"Finally," Alex mumbled.
With a thought, the lightning chains released the corpse of the spider lord and allowed it to fall into the snow on the ground, slightly sinking into it.
At the sa ti, Alex deactivated the spell and the lightning cage gradually began to disappear. The fierce cold wind that had been blocked out by the ultimate lightning prison previously imdiately entered the five-hundred-ter space along with snow from the sky.

He felt their presence long ago so he wasn’t surprised to see them.
"Mr Chen, are you all right?" Femi asked imdiately after the lightning cage disappeared.
Alex nodded and asked if they had taken care of everything else.
"Yes, it was a hard fight, but you had it even harder," Femi said jokingly as he gazed at a slight bulge on the snow. It was the corpse of the spider lord that had been covered in snow.
"It wasn’t really a problem, it just took longer than I anticipated," Alex replied casually.
Femi was speechless at Mr Chen’s response. He stared at the other party for a brief mont before suddenly letting out a chuckle.
"You truly are impressive, Mr Chen. I find it difficult to believe that we are in the sa Saint rank." Femi said after chuckling.
Alex didn’t respond to this statent.
Lucas and the other Saint rank mages approached at this point.
"You’re truly sothing, Mr Chen. To think that a powerful mage like yourself was in our sixth continent, you should join us for more operations in the future." Lucas said with a sigh after reaching Alex.
He honestly still found it difficult to believe everything that he had felt since Mr Chen arrived with Maria and the others from Mash country.

Please, accept my apologies." The man said with a slight bow.
After everything that had happened, he would be an idiot to stay on the bad side of soone like Mr Chen. It was only right for him to and things quickly and apologise, even though he was from the third continent, and Mr Chen claid to be from the sixth continent.
Lucas watched with a smug look from the side and didn’t butt in, but he was glad to see that arrogant mage from the third continent bowing his head.
"But I’m not a mber of the Union, I was just invited by a friend," Alex replied, his tone expressionless.

Seeing how Shin had just ford a connection with Mr Chen, the other Saint mages, except Lucas and Femi, quickly started to introduce themselves and offered to guide Mr Chen around if he ever ca to their continent.
Even Saint-ranked mages could be shaless, too, when it cos to sothing that might benefit them.
After they were finally done with that, they proceeded to gather the corpses of the spider lord and the one hundred spider Generals before returning to the camp.
On their way there, Lucas couldn’t help but ask how Mr Chen was able to last so long without running out of mana and how he was able to kill so many Calamity rank beasts alone.
Alex obviously didn’t answer this. He was actually thinking of a more believable lie but the ti he took to think made the others think that he didn’t want to answer.
"It’s not good to interrogate a Saint rank mage, especially soone like Mr Chen, everyone has secrets that they do not wish to share," Femi said from the side.
The others quickly understood what he ant. Mr Chen’s true identity was hidden behind a mask, but what made them think he would answer such questions?
It made sense for him to ignore them.
Lucas apologised for trying to pry into Mr Chen’s secrets, the other mages also apologised.
’Huh, just like that?’ Alex was stunned that they gave up so easily, he just ca up with an answer!
"But I’m really curious about sothing though," Femi suddenly voiced out and stopped walking.
He turned and stared deeply at Alex’s mask.
’Oh, he has a question as well?’ Alex thought as he also ca to a stop.
"Mr Chen, your elent is the lightning elent, right?" Femi asked, wanting to confirm sothing first.
"Yes," Alex replied.
"Then, how were you able to use spells of the space elent?" Femi asked, his eyes narrowing.
Alex was stunned, the feeling around the dark skinned man suddenly changed into a dangerous one after asking that question.
But Alex didn’t panic and casually replied the next mont.
"They were spell books,"

Not just Femi, Lucas and the other Saint rank mages were left speechless by Mr Chen’s response. And since his response didn’t take long, it didn’t seem like he was lying.
Those space spells that they felt were from spell books?
