"Rember to inform your leader that I saved you all, put a good word to her on my behalf." Lucas smiled at the group before jumping away.

"That bastard!" soone hissed.

"He wants us to be grateful because he chased away the lizardn? I would rather face the lizardn than this heat."

"No wonder the leader hates him, he’s a scumbag!"

The mbers of the Rising Wave group cursed as they watched Lucas leave.

Lucas ca out and stood on one of the boulders, seeing his group mbers killing the lizardn, he nodded with satisfaction. Their gains here could very much double their gains during the past hours.

Not long after, more people began to appear. They were from the other two groups and had co after sensing Selena’s lightning energy as well.

Apparently, these three groups had been the closest to them so they were the first ones to arrive.

When they saw lots of lizardn running around and the mbers of the Golden Tree group hunting them, the people of the two groups imdiately joined in an attempt to get so more profits.

"Stop, these lizardn belong to the Golden Tree group, others are not allowed to kill them. If you have already killed any, please return them." Lucas’s voice rang through the air when he saw this.

His words sounded reasonable and righteous but his threatening tone was as clear as day.

The other two groups were speechless, even Selena and the mbers of the Rising Wave group who were suffering in the pit were also speechless.

Who would go around laying claims on magic beasts that were in the wild?

So of the mbers, however, were stubborn and still wanted to store so beast corpses that were close to them but were imdiately scolded by the Expert mage of their group.

Lucas had claid to know Mr Chen; it would be unwise to get on his bad side since they might need him to get in contact with Mr Chen; it was better to just allow him to take these lizardn.

Lucas stood tall on the boulder with a sharp glint in his eyes, he nodded in approval when he saw the others’ behaviour.

Soti later, the flas on top of the transparent disk finally died out, and Simon retrieved it.

The disk went back to its original size before dropping on Simon’s palm, he calmly stored it in his storage ring.

Selena imdiately dropped to the ground after the disk was retreated. Her entire body had turned a shade darker, and one would feel like they had touched a hot object when they touched her skin.

"Selena!" The mbers of the group imdiately rushed towards her with worried expressions.

"I’m alright. God, you all are so noisy!" Selena’s tired voice rang out as she slowly pushed herself to a sitting position.

The mbers of the group gathered around her but didn’t touch her or make any more sounds.

Simon glanced at her with a relieved look on his face before looking at the figure standing on the boulder, his gaze instantly turned murderous.

With the lizardn gone, the group didn’t imdiately climb out from the pit. They were finally able to relax and catch their breaths after a long period of suffering; their nervous system had almost reached a breaking point.

They spent minutes in the pit, recovering their energy. After they were in a good enough state, they finally climbed out of the pit. Lucas glanced at the group as they jumped on the boulder one after the other, one of the mbers was carrying their wounded teammate.

"You guys finally ca back. You’re lucky I ca on ti; you all might have been in serious danger. I don’t want to imagine how heartbroken Mia would be if sothing happened to you all." Lucas expressed his worries but a cunning grin could be seen on his face.

The mbers of the Rising Wave group felt disgust toward this person and they cursed at him in their hearts. They just didn’t dare to say it to his face, after all, he was an Expert mage.

Selena glanced at Lucas with narrowed eyes, her face colder than ancient ice. Anyone could instantly tell that she didn’t have a favourable impression of him.

Simon turned to Lucas and nodded slightly.

"Thank you, we’ll rember your kindness." He said tonelessly.

Although they didn’t like Lucas, they still had to show courtesy in front of him.

Lucas nodded with a pleased expression on his face. "It’s nothing, all I did was cast a few spells."

His words made the mbers of the group almost throw up but they forcefully held down their stomachs. They turned their attention to the scene below.

The mbers of the Golden Tree group had almost finished off the rest of the lizardn and only a few of them were still running around.

"Let’s wait here, the leader should arrive soon. We’ll return to Balon City soon." Simon said while staring at the man who still had a spike stuck in his lap; his face was now as white as a ghost, but he was still awake.

They needed to return quickly so that he could get treated.

But Simon’s voice had barely fallen when the ground suddenly trembled as if an earthquake was happening, followed by a series of earth-shattering roars.

mbers of the Rising Wave group "..."

A look of disbelief appeared on their faces as they looked in the direction of the disturbance. There, in the distance, a horde of earth golems were approaching and behind them was an even larger earth that was ten ters huge.

It was enormous and the other earth golems looked like little children in front of it.

The eyes of Simon and the others almost popped out of their sockets.

What the hell? Was this valley being serious right now? They had just survived the encirclent of so lizardn not long ago but now a horde of earth golems were coming?

Was this place really not going to give them a way out?

Not just the mbers of the Rising Wave group but every human being in the area stared at the gigantic golem.

Without a doubt, that giant was at the mutated beast rank!

"So, so many!" Soone exclaid with a look of terror on their face.

Selena glanced at her teammates, except for Simon, the others had dreadful expressions.

"I’ll be going ahead first, see you guys later."

Unlike them, Lucas still had a relaxed look on his face. He waved at the group before disappearing into a blur, he arrived in front of his group mbers the next mont.

"As expected, the beasts in the Golem Valley are more active at night. I just didn’t expect them to co out so soon; this isn’t a bad thing, though." Lucas turned his head and gazed in the direction of the incoming golems before looking at the other two explorer groups.

"Since the mutated rank earth golem has appeared, all Expert mages will join to kill it while the others deal with the smaller ones. The Golden Tree group will take ownership of the remains and mana core after we kill it, in return, my group will owe all of you a favour." Lucas voiced out.
