"You.are.the.ones.killing.the.beasts.of.the.golem.valley." The transford rank lizardman spoke again, its voice rough, and its words sounded ssy, like a kid who was just learning how to speak properly.
No one responded to the question as they were too frightened to speak.
Seeing that it wasn’t going to get a response, it gave an order to the six lizardn beside it.
"Kill.them.all."
The six mutated rank lizardn stepped forward after hearing the order, spikes ford in their hands as they gazed at the group.
At the sa ti, everyone woke up from their state of fear. The words of the leading lizardman had knocked them back to their senses as a thought appeared in their minds.
’Run!’
Was the thought that appeared in everyone’s mind, they needed to escape! But was it even possible to run from beasts with such strength? Nevertheless, the group refused to just wait for death.

Mia’s eyes flashed as she instantly went forward and summoned her stars and ford a star constellation at her fastest speed.
"Water barrier!" Mia shouted as she raised both of her hands.
The mbers of the group behind her were startled, this was the first ti they saw their leader put so much energy into casting a spell.
The star constellation released a burst of blue glow as a thin water barrier instantly ford around the group, covering them in a water do just in ti for the spikes to arrive.
Bam!
The first spike crashed into the water do with so much force that it sounded like a collision between speeding trains; ripples spread across the surface of the water barrier, and it looked like it was going to disappear any mont from now,, but It managed to hold.
However, the second spike was what brought the barriers downfall.
The ripples caused by the first spike had yet to settle before the second spike ramd into the water barrier.
With a deafening bang, Mia’s shoulders trembled as she fell to one knee. The barrier also shattered into water droplets that fell on the group mbers, drenching them.
Now, they had nothing protecting them and were exposed to all attacks.
"Run, take Alex and run to the truck; I’ll hold them off and follow behind!" Mia shouted as she forced herself to stand up, one could feel the determination from her voice.
"We can’t leave you here!" Simon protested but was suddenly silent after Mia turned her head to the side and glared at him.
"Leave, your presence will only make it harder for since I’ll have to protect you all too. Don’t worry, I haven’t gone on enough dates yet and don’t plan to die here." A playful smile stretched Mia’s lips towards the end of her words.
The bodies of Simon and the rest trembled. Don’t plan on dying here? What’s the difference between suicide and facing six mutated rank beasts and a transford rank beast?
Although Mia suddenly began to sound relaxed, they could clearly tell that she was sacrificing herself for them. So of them were already tearing up as they stared at their leader’s reliable back.

The others took one last look at Mia before running after Simon. Although leaving Mia alone was dangerous, staying with her would put her in more danger. After all, she was an Expert mage and it would be easier to look after herself.
Her chances of survival were high if she was alone...that was if there were any chances of survival.
After Simon and the rest left, Mia turned to face the lizardn In front of her. Lucas, as well as the Expert mages, had also stayed behind to block the spikes so no one was hurt yet, except for Mia, whose hand was bleeding, but such a wound was negligible.

Mia’s eye flashed with a cold glint.

She wasn’t the only one having the fun, Lucas and the others were also facing a mutated rank lizardman while the strongest one watched.

anwhile, Alex silently stayed on Simon’s shoulder as the group escaped but he wasn’t paying any attention to them as he observed Mia’s situation with his senses.
He believed that Mia and the others had a chance of survival after seeing how each of them had to face one of the six lizardn, the only problem was the one at the transford rank.
Alex moved his attention to the lizardman that was now coming towards them, the beast was now less than three hundred ters away and would arrive anyti soon.
