In his opinion, as a creation of the Dragon God, whether or not you are an Alien Dragon, your relationship with the Dragon God is complentary. As a creation of the Dragon God, the larger your reputation in the Endless World, the more indirectly you will promote the Dragon God.
Although the Dragon Gods are powerful because of the Giant Dragons, no Divine Spirit would refuse to gain more faith.
This is also one of the reasons why the Five-Colored Dragon God, in many stories, doesn't go all out against the Giant Dragons who express extre disdain towards her.
Of course, Karon would not place his safety on expectations of others. If there are benefits, Karon might trust these Dragon Gods, but if it exceeds the price of two Copper Coins, the Red Dragon will not agree.
The Red Dragon's two minds were operating, the sub-brain was thinking, the main brain was controlling the body, and the perception was constantly extending. Suddenly, his eyes lit up; a very suitable target as a resident for the laboratory he had not yet established appeared in his perception.
It was a Chira, living in a small mountain cave a few miles away.
The origin of the Chira is unclear even to ancient species like the Giant Dragons, who appeared with the creation of the world. There are legends that this evil creature was created by the Demon Lord of the Abyss — the two-headed baboon, Demogorgan.
There are also legends that it was created by so curious goddess as a guardian species, but later, due to so Black Hand alterations, the Chira race was divided into good-faced Chiras and bad-faced Chiras.
The Chira in Karon's perception was about eight ters long, bearing wings like those of a Giant Dragon, forelimbs like those of a lion from the prairie, hind limbs like those of a goat from the forest, and had three distinct heads.
The three heads were a lion's head, a goat's head, and a head resembling a lowly dragon species. However, Karon felt that such a creature should have its na changed to "Hideous-ra", which seems more appropriate.
This creature's ugly appearance found no beauty among the Giant Dragons. It was like a patched-together monster, and its terrible sll made even the Giant Dragons lose their appetite. It was like the mixed stench of goat musk tenfold combined with the putrid scent of rotting corpses.
"Does such an ugly creature deserve to bear a head like a Giant Dragon? No, I must beat it up first. It makes the Dragon displeased to look at it," Karon's nature as a Red Dragon was exposed. The proud Red Dragon would not allow such a lowly patched monster to have Dragon characteristics.
The Chira's eight-ter-long body lazily curled up. Although its size paled in comparison to Karon, this monster was a mighty presence in this forest, standing atop the food chain in this region.
The thick layer of white bones littering its cave floor testified to this monster's prowess. Unlike the relatively clean Giant Dragons, Chiras were more inclined to pave their caves with the bones of their hunted victims to showcase their strength and fa.
The Chira had its heads resting on the thick shattered bones, imrsed in fantasies of its own power, but in the next mont, intense Dragon Power interrupted its reverie, making it jump up like a startled wild rabbit.
Bam,
A huge Red Dragon spread its wide wings, sealing the entire cave entrance, and the nacing, majestic head of the Red Dragon stretched inside, crimson pupils exuding a terrifying light, gazing at it like a Giant to an ant.
An overwhelming ntal pressure rushed forward. Even the bravest, most fearless lion's head of the Chira cowered in fear, letting out soft howls, retreating desperately, as if this would get it out of the dreadful gaze of the Red Dragon.
The other two heads fared even worse; the goat's head and the dragon species' head hung limply like dead dogs, not daring to move, even their usual heavy breathing had stopped.
"Whimper, whimper," the Chira kept retreating until its body hit the wall at the deepest part with nowhere to go. Only then did it stop, watching the Red Dragon nervously who hadn't spoken or attacked yet.
"Co here, walk over here on your own, little doggy," the Red Dragon's massive body blocked the cave, its thick head stretching entirely inside, speaking in an unmistakable tone.
"Awooo," understanding so Dragon Language and able to speak the common language, the Chira couldn't utter a normal sentence at this mont, rely whining like a puppy, desperately shaking its three heads.
Crack,
The Red Dragon's body squeezed the seemingly solid cave entrance until it cracked. He bared his long, fierce fangs, stating flatly: "If you don't co out, by the ti I go in, you won't have another chance."
"I... I submit, Master!" The three-headed Chira lowered all three heads to the ground, slowly crawling towards the Red Dragon. Seeing the Red Dragon's size, it knew its cave, although dug within a solid mountain, couldn't withstand the Red Dragon's Dragon Fire and Dragon Claw.
Whoosh,
Two bursts of searing sparks burst from the Red Dragon's nostrils, scattering across the four-limbed Chira crouched at his feet. The intense sparks burned pockmarked bloody holes on the Chira's wings, yet its body remained motionless.
The Chira thought its submission would satisfy the Red Dragon before it, but in the next mont, the Red Dragon extended its Dragon Claw and seized its dragon-like head.
