Now reading: Chapter 221 85: Luck Does Not Favor Fools (Part 2) from Beneath the Red Dragon, a Fantasy novel by White Crane by the Reed.

A middle-aged Foxman responded quietly in Beastman language. Although these Foxn are not very strong in combat, they are comparable to Dogman Warriors.

But the intelligence of Foxn is acknowledged by all Beastn, so many Beastman Nobility enjoy having so Foxn around as external brains.

"Haha, those old guys don't even think. They actually dream of having a territory belonging to the Beastman Kingdom next to the Giant Dragon's territory. How much will it take? Based on my observation of these Dragons, they will not allow any force that could threaten the Giant Dragon Territory to exist nearby."

Beastman Nobility Fati showed a cold smile, with particularly hideous protruding fangs.

"Indeed, if you want to pick fruit, you should guard the tree when it's planted. Wait until the fruit is ripe to pick it, then you have to defeat the Guardian of the fruit," the middle-aged Foxman sighed.

"Hmph, when this place was still a wilderness, those foolish old fellows were unwilling to exert themselves, greedy for the past prosperity and wealth. Now that it has begun to prosper, they want to plunder it. As a base for the Beastman's return to the Main Continent, it's not that easy,"

Beastman Fati sneered, "These Dragons are no fools. Dragons that can establish civilization over the wilderness shouldn't be thought of as stupid."

The group continued to walk and talk, but their voices did not leak out.

Many rchants and passersby only saw these peculiar Beastn moving their lips, as if they were chewing on jerky, a specialty of the Giant Dragon Territory.

Now that the first batch of grains in the Dragon Group Territory has been harvested, it can alleviate the previous lack of grain and has a surplus.

So the at from beasts in the Dragon Group Territory is no longer as scarce as a few years ago, it's beco surplus. Many hunters can only sell the beasts they hunt to rchants to make into jerky.

Under the laws of the Giant Dragon Territory, there are heavy penalties for short weights, so these rchants weigh the exact amount, crushing and drying the exceptionally lean beast at into jerky.

No one distinguishes exactly what beast at the jerky contains. It could be ordinary beast at or ferocious breed at, depending on the price.

But without exception, just a small piece of jerky is enough for an ordinary person to chew on for an entire morning; it has already beco a popular snack in the Dragon Group Territory.

Beastman Nobility Fati walked past the newly built Giant Dragon Library, watching many Dragon's Beloved busy about, moving boxes of books into the tall, spacious library. He couldn't help but admire the Dragons' grand vision.

This Giant Dragon Library not only includes a large portion of transcribed and purchased historical and cultural knowledge from human nobility but is also said to have books recording so common knowledge of Magic and Magic Tricks.

Anyone with an identity plaque of a Giant Dragon Territory resident can use it to enter the library and read these books, but they cannot take them out.

Regardless of whether you are nobility or a commoner, everyone is equal in the face of knowledge, and so are the different races.

Beastman Fati is well aware of the benefits this asure will bring to the Giant Dragon Territory. The reputation of valuing knowledge and culture, once spread, will inevitably earn the Giant Dragon Territory a lot of intangible support in the future.

Although Beastman Fati doesn't know the rather advanced term "consolidating a common civilization consciousness," he can clearly appreciate the benefits of this initiative.

"The longer we delay, the fewer opportunities for our Beastman Kingdom," Fati stood in front of this still relatively quiet library. Now, there aren't many people borrowing books; most are the Dragon's Beloved busy at work.

"Perhaps we should start with the Dragons themselves. The ruling Dragons are a Dragon Group, not a single Giant Dragon. The Five-Color Dragons cannot work together, so we could focus on a specific Dragon, divide them, and thus have so opportunities."

The middle-aged Foxman, with intelligent, narrow eyes, famous for their cunning, seed quite strategic.

Beastman Fati nodded, and the group andered along until they finally stopped in front of a building resembling a tavern.

Two adorable Pick Elves, wearing rubber fruit hats, flapped their wings in front of the building nad "Eternal Card Tavern," with two striking trails of Elf Dust behind them, sprinkling glimrs in the air.

They loudly greeted, "Yoo-hoo, want to play a ga of Eternal Card? Everyone co play, the Eternal Card has a new special card, a powerful character!"

But the loud calls of the two lovely Pick Elves were drowned out by the sounds coming from inside the tavern. Joyful cheering from inside could be heard from afar, the atmosphere was lively.

Eternal Card, as the na implies, is a card ga encompassing countless races. This na was given by Pikku Little Elf Riven.

At the request of Red Copper Dragon Alfred, Pik Fairy Riven took a position as the deputy director of the culture promotion departnt, bringing out the ga once invented by 'Karon,' to be a part of the cultural promotion unique to the Giant Dragon Territory.

The material for ordinary cards of the Eternal Card is not rare, made simply from tough, durable cards with the symbol of the Dragon engraved on the corner, representing the product of the Giant Dragon Territory.

The Dragons are not worried about this ga being imitated; in fact, they hope for it to be imitated and spread.

Only special cards are made from special materials, for instance, the card representing Dragons is made from Dragon Scale, the card representing Elves is made from the leaves of the War Ancient Tree, and if it's so powerful Elf characters, it's made from the leaves of the Tree of Life.
