Lao G's attacks were clearly not enough to shake the Absolute Defense.

In the face of such fierce force, the spatial door didn't even ripple.

'A Devil Fruit ability?'

Watching the spatial door block his attack, Lao G was inwardly shocked.

The ground shook.

Just as Lao G was about to bypass the spatial door to try another attack, Manlong, who had been sent flying, had already made a powerful return.

Seeing that Lao G had dared to abandon their fight to offend his boss, Manlong's eyes instantly beca bloodshot.

Fishman Karate: Spear Wave!

Water flowed from his right palm. With a flick, a swift water cannonball blasted toward Lao G.

'Damn it!'

His Observation Haki caught the attack. Unwillingly, Lao G had to abandon his offensive and dodge the water projectile.

BOOM!!!

The water cannonball struck a nearby ruin, instantly shattering it into pieces.

Fishman Karate: Water Shot!

After missing the first hit, Manlong launched a new round of attacks.

He continuously gathered water orbs in his palms, hurling them in succession at the dodging Lao G.

Although this round of water orbs was much smaller than the Spear Wave from before, they were faster, like bullets fired continuously from a sniper rifle.

Lao G's figure flickered as he constantly ducked and moved.

One water orb after another pierced through the surrounding rubble and the remains of buildings.

While attacking, Manlong also closed the distance between them.

Once he was within range, he suddenly threw a punch that unleashed a shockwave.

Fishman Karate: Arabesque Tile True Punch!

A visible, violent shockwave swept toward Lao G, leaving him with nowhere to hide.

"Don't get too cocky!"

With a roar full of fury, Lao G shifted his stance and faced Manlong head-on.

His fists, coated in Armant Haki, forcefully broke through the shockwave as Lao G lunged forward.

G-Earth Fist: Immortal Warrior's Pain!

His fists blurred in a rapid succession of strikes. Lao G's counterattack was exceptionally fierce, spinning as he rapidly targeted various joints all over Manlong's body.

Manlong knew full well that his Armant Haki wasn't proficient enough yet.

So, facing Lao G's wide-range continuous assault, he decisively chose a battle of attrition.

Disregarding the heavy burden on his Haki, Manlong entered a full-body Armant Haki state, eting the opponent's onslaught with his own flurry of punches.

"Aaaaaahhhhh!!!"

Fist shadows clashed as air currents surged.

Whether it was Manlong or Lao G...

Both n vented their fighting spirit with wild roars, attacking each other frantically.

Fists t flesh.

Blood splattered.

"Incredible! Now this is a real man's fight!"

In the spectator area, Zane watched the battle with boiling blood, offering high praise without hesitation.

Had he not wanted to use Lao G to temper Manlong, he would have wanted to jump in and throw a few punches himself.

Combat Preservation allowed Lao G to briefly return to his peak state.

But Manlong was also gifted.

His current physical strength was in no way inferior to Lao G's.

In the most direct and violent form of close-quarters combat...

After a round of frantic onslaughts, both sides were left covered in wounds.

It was as if they had reached a certain limit.

As they simultaneously struck each other one last ti, Manlong and Lao G both staggered back.

They struggled to steady themselves.

Manlong, who had been pushed back further, had just stabilized himself when he couldn't stop himself from coughing up blood. His body swayed as he was about to fall to his knees.

An arm reached out.

Manlong instinctively grabbed it, keeping his body from collapsing into a kneeling position and instead settling into a cross-legged seat.

"That's enough. I'll take it from here."

The arm belonged to Zane.

Having helped Manlong steady himself, Zane spoke with a faint smile.

"Boss..." Seeing Zane, Manlong's fading consciousness snapped back. He stared blankly at Zane, who was now standing in front of him, walking straight toward the enemy.

Breathing heavily.

Lao G's condition was better than Manlong's, but the recent clash had clearly drained much of his stamina.

Now, seeing Zane walking toward him, he imdiately pulled himself together, his sharp eyes locking onto Zane.

"I won't say I'm above hitting an old man or a child, but if you need it, I can give you ti to rest." Zane stopped when they were a few ters apart.

He looked at the opposite Lao G with an indifferent gaze.

"Don't make laugh. My body may be old, but my will is not! A re battle like this is nothing more than a warm-up! G!"

Lao G took a deep breath and then roared his determination, even striking his signature G pose.

"Impressive. Then co."

Zane beckoned with his finger, eting him with a provocative look.

Whoosh!

Already wanting to settle things quickly due to his stamina issues, Lao G didn't hesitate and launched an attack imdiately.

G-Earth Fist: Immortal Warrior's Pain!

His body spun, hands striking in rapid succession.

A crimson glow appeared in his eyes as Zane used Observation Haki to track the fists aid at his joints.

Shifting his feet and swaying his body...

Zane continuously evaded the incoming strikes.

Ti and ti again.

During Lao G's relentless assault, Zane surprisingly didn't counterattack at all, choosing instead to keep dodging.

Most of the attacks were evaded, though a few landed on Zane.

Lao G was quite skilled; both his physique and his Armant Haki were highly refined.

Nevertheless, under the dual defense of Nen aura and Armant Haki, the attacks that did land on Zane failed to cause any substantial damage.

Only dodging, no counterattacking.

This wasn't because Zane lacked the ability.

He was simply using the opponent to hone his Observation Haki.

Lao G was a fairly decent whetstone.

Not only was Zane using him to train Manlong...

He also intended to use him to temper himself.

After plundering the ntal attributes of Rob Lucci and Kaku, Zane's ntal strength had significantly improved, and his Observation Haki had risen accordingly.

With his constant dodging, it was almost visible to the naked eye—fewer and fewer of Lao G's strikes were landing on Zane.

This was the manifestation of his improved Observation Haki becoming increasingly proficient.

'Damn it!'

Lao G was no fool. While he might not have noticed at first, as Zane's dodging beca more and more effective, how could he not see the problem?

Realizing that Zane wasn't being suppressed and unable to fight back, but was instead likely using him to train Observation Haki, a surge of shock and fury rose in Lao G's heart.

'I can't keep wasting ti like this. I have to find a way to crush him in one blow!'

Lao G decisively stopped his assault, panting heavily as he created so distance between them.

'Oh? Did you notice?'

Seeing the other man back off, Zane also stopped moving.

In the next second, his gaze sharpened as he focused on his opponent.

Seal of G!!!

During that brief mont of catching his breath, Lao G's hands quickly ford the shape of a G in front of him. With a roar, he charged straight at Zane.

A terrifying force was contained within the G ford by his hands.

Wherever he passed, layers of air currents surged in his wake.
